Unnecessary use of Jake-brake. Brakes are used to stop a vehicle. Jakes are added to large vehicles to use when the truck is carrying load and going down a hill. Jakes is supposed to be turned off when you're not in use. I noticed that most Jamaican truck drivers are clueless of the right way to use it. Jakes actually damages your engine if it's not used properly. If you're not carrying a load turn it off. Your engine will last a lot longer.

However the fact still remain that Jake brakes are for downhill use. Most likely the truck not yours or you would care about learning new information. How many times have you had to change your head seals on the engine as well as the transmission seals. Genius.
