I am a student at dms and am in choir, i am so honored to be able to sing this song at our concert. Mr. Bishop truley was an amazing man and changed so many lives. He changed my life in so many ways and i wouldnt be who i am without him. I cant believe hes gone. Randomly i will break out crying missing him. His joy and kindness radiated through everyone. He really deserved so much. Thankyou for helping us all process through this grief. I never got to tell him how much he did for me and i wish he could know. Whenever i miss him i always remember that he was so proud of me and is watching us all from heaven cheering us on.

I consider us all so lucky to have known and loved him, and I’m so glad to have the opportunity to make music with you and and your choir. I think of his song often and found the Bobby Darin recording. I was trying to see if there was a live version. Really like this version, great even without the video, which I did like!
