SS is a punk band from Kyoto. It is one of the earliest Japanese punk bands to start working under the direct influence of London punk, which became a worldwide boom in 1977. The high-speed performance style, which can be said to be the forerunner of hardcore punk in the 1980s, can be seen from the sound sources recorded on the live board and the movie "Rockers".
