8:22 Ideally, the optimal mashing speed is not every frame. This is because due to the way games often poll for inputs, holding a button is treated as repeated inputs. So the best method would be mashing at 30 buttons/s, since that would be every other frame, which is just close enough to count as unique presses. Many tool assisted playthroughs implement pause buffering to mash faster since 1 frame of in game time can pass between pauses but since more real time has passed, you can press it again. With perfect pause buffering, you can mash at a speed equivalent to 1 button/frame.

This is extremely interesting, love the work you put into not only the coding, but the video editing aswell. Might I ask, where you are from? I hear an accent but I am not quite sure if its a german one or something else. Anyways, new subscriber, keep up the good work

This was the game I got with my DSi back in 2011(? I think that’s the right year but it might’ve been 2012). Very entertaining video

Pretty good video, keep up the good work! Would like to see some of the boss battles (like the hammer bro or kamek ones) if that’s not too hard

Aside from goomba wrangler i also tried a few minigames shown here myself Turns out i way overcomplicated my shape detection for trace cadets, tho you can actually draw just straight lines to the vertices of the shape, so i assume this is a limitation of the way youre interacting with the emulator For cherry go round, you actually only need to alternate between 2 opposite positions each frame and still get the perfect 200

Incredible video! But in the shape minigame, the computer constantly draws the figure, even when it can't, losing time finishing a figure that didn't had it start registered and having to give a second go. Maybe you could give a wait timer of some miliseconds so the computer doesn't draw while the game doesn't register draws during the "completed figure" animation! Really cool video nevertheless! Loving them Finally, between all the minigames, the one I think would be interesting to see in action would be Call Of The Goomba or the Bomb microphone minigame (if it's possible to use the microphone and calculate how much microphone use to get the closer to the bomb without exploding it)

Some I'd like to see are the 2v2 ones like Hanger Management, Cube Crushers or Crazy Crosshairs. Maybe even some of the boss minigames as well

I think Pedal Pushers might turn complicated... Hey, why not the Hammer Bro boss (simon says)? How about Study Fall? And how about Power Washer, if you want a more complicated minigame? Oh, and you should totally feature Cheep Cheep Chance as a joke. Maybe you can impliment a needlessly complicated algorithm, or something else you just want to feature that might otherwise be suboptimal?

Seeing the ripple effect mess with the input at 6:12, while probably irritating to the bot, it's very visually pleasing with its miminal neon design

Rail Riders was the one that popped into my head first, for the same reason as I wanted to see Cherry Go Round (really just wanted to see how far it can actually go lol) But both Dust Buddies and Cube Crushers both look insanely tricky to program well, so if that happens I'd love to see the process (:
