I totally agree with you. I’ve always loved Jordans and still do, but I stopped buying them after 2015. The price hikes just got too crazy, so I switched to more comfortable and reasonably priced sneakers.

I like it. Was it a must cop?? Nope. But it is a nice shoe to pick up. I actually like the converse out of all the shoes and they sold out quick! Didn't even have a chance to pick up. SNKRS snuck them on as it was loaded up until drop day.

Mars Blackman was the prototype for what a sneaker head would become. He was the first documented sneaker, head, in popular culture. I can’t think of anyone before spike / Mars that shined the light on sneakers and impacted the culture the way that character did. Spike Lee is the godfather of sneaker head culture. He definitely deserves to be on the sneaker head Mount Rushmore. No question.

My guess is somewhere in the $300 range. Nigo is a trailblazer and people who’ve been around awhile appreciate him and his work. This is owning a piece of that. I also think these weren’t super stocked, so take that into account. Just my opinion.

I’m disappointed. Out of four pairs I’m only satisfied with one. Thinking about sending a third pair back because of the elephant print issue. Tired of looking so I might keep it and just dog that pair out.

For these prices theres no reason comfort and quality are so much lower than their competitors. With that being said I like that the shoes finally look like the OGs instead of wacky retros with bad proportions .

And yes the shoe game over at Nike iz all fucked up- and i also agree with the whole make a stand wit wallets for better product quality but in reality sum sneakhedz gonna copp any 5:15 every drop jus to say i got A jordan. An nike knows that which is why it wont stop. But yes Nike has shitloads of cash and they've overtime downgraded the quality of shoes to Maximize profits all while they sale us shit shoes that are uncomfortable and dont last. Airmax 170, AirMax tn 200, Retro Jordans 230, Foampoasites 250 more than J'z lol, and Air force 1z you only get about 3/4 wears an theyre done- Itz ReaLLy Bad! Shoe game at nike iz fucked😂

I fully agree, I like the Black Cement but I can think of many other sneakers that are better than the 3's, especially the Black Cement colour-way. For me it's my least favourite OG Colour-way. I'm happy I got them though, as it's my first pair of 3's but I don't care for them like my other sneakers, it will just be something to throw on when the weather is bad. Also let's not talk about the QC issues on these 3's, Nike is just bugging with how bad their Quality Control has been the past few years. Great episode dude. 💯

I can openly say Chris is someone who inspires me, I see what he has built from the bottom and I hope one day through the anxiety and depression I struggle with that I can figure out what my place/purpose is. Great podcast and it's always great to see how people in the sneaker community can pull together & have personal or semi-relatable conversation with each other simply on the basis that we love sneakers. I'm from England and I know that there's millions out there around the world who would understand the passion no matter how different our walk of life has been. Also Transformers especially that G1 era is fantastic, I'm an Armada kid but the G1 stuff was what I always wanted as a kid and at 27 I'm happy to say I have the figures I wanted and I still love the feeling I get with Transformers, as Chris said it's nice to look back and know that the kid inside us has that safe space

Thanks! I am hesitant to talk about sizing because I’ve never had to size up or down in a shoe, so saying they are TTS doesn’t feel accurate for everyone, if that makes sense.

I was wondering how they compare to the latest version as I’m waiting for mine to finally ship. Since I’m between two sizes I opted for the bigger one. Now there are reviews that mention that they are cut wide 😅
