Homeless people are in thousands of thousands! Those types of decommissioned crafts or ships could accommodate thousands! But making money for the richer elite is the most important.

So very sad to see these wonderful machines being either broken up or in a very poor state of repair. Worked on the skirt for these for 20 years. Many happy memories.

Am disappointed that these SRN4's were allowed to rot. I am a keen hovercraft enthusiast and have been to the museum may times. but think we have been let down. SRN4 Swift was broken up a few years ago, now the princess Margaret and the one in the background looks no better. Think that a better job of preservation could have been done after all this is a British invention and we should be proud of!
