As far as I know, there is no true name for the song: from what I read it was composed specifically for the movie, and none of the soundtracks contain it.

Wow. I've tried to Google every lyric I can understand from this song, and absolutely NOTHING is coming up. It's clearly a folk ballad -- one woman, accompanied by acoustic guitar, probably early 1960s. The refrain is something like: "I'll sing you a song of the life and the way of a wanderer." Other lyrics I can make out: "I left home and hearth far behind me." "Now I [something] by the side of the road." "Some of you might envy me the places I have been."
