Both Nostalgia and Star of Korea were written in times of the anti-Japanese guerrilla movement in the 30's and 40's. Kim Il Sung led his own communist guerrilla group, and his inspiration for Nostalgia came from leaving his own village, Mangyongdae. Star of Korea was written by Kim Hyok as a revolutionary hymn.

The first song at the beginning of the video is Nostalgia. It's a classic written by Kim Il Sung himself.

the original songs was created in 1930s by the south korean singer..and kim il sung took the songs and change the lyric so it became a revolutionary songs.

you should submit this to discogs so we can keep track of all of NK records. so far we have about 80 of them that are known.
