I tried to turn on my Oxygen pro 61 at step 1 3:31 and it didn't turn on. WHat can I do?

It was turning on before? And now it's not turning on after firmware update? Maybe try holding both octave keys then turning on the Oxygen Pro? Thanks for the video all day.. I recently purchased one, and it's not bad.. Comparing it to M Audio Axiom 49, I think they should have added a recall button for the plugins, so I dont have to use the mouse to open it up after selecting the track.. I might be missing it.. I'm still learning how to use it..

I also had the Axiom.. I think the Oxygen Pro's build quality is better and worse in some areas. I never used the recall button with the Axiom.. I was too new at the time.. and mainly was learning how to make professional sounding beats.. In later years, being more experienced, the Oxygen Pro has allowed the most customizability I've used in a MIDI Keyboard, due to its powerful Oxygen Pro Preset Editor.. and especially with FL Studio's MIDI Scripting allows us to customize a MIDI Controller to control FL Studio however we want (within the MIDI Scripting API's limits). I think the clicky buttons are an improvement on the Oxygen Pro, as my Axiom squishy buttons started failing over time. I think the absolute knobs on the Oxygen Pro are a downgrade to the Axiom's endless encoders, as the absolute knobs make hands-on mixing in music production really give a poor experience, having to use soft-takeover 👎 If M-Audio is reading this.. an Oxygen Pro V2 as-is with endless encoders would be a powerful setup for hands-on mixing. VST is Steinberg's creation that the music production industry has adopted as the main plugin format. However, a new open-source format is gaining popularity fast, which is called CLAP. Drum pads are essential. You can configure those drum pads to specific drum sounds and play drums on the go. A they can be assigned to play record etc for looping.

It's 100% opinion & preference. I like the keys due to so many keys available for sounds / triggers, as well as being able to play chords with both left & right hands.. and easily go up / down octaves. Hi, nice video ! After 12 years of learning fl studio, i still learn some stuff ! I'd like to ask you something : Is it possible with the global link to map my midi controler on a synth (for example, attack, decay, sustain, release, cutoff and some other classic stuffs that every synth had in stock) And while i open another VST, i don't have to link it again ? I don't know if there is some "omni controls" on the browser sections like mod wheels & pitch for ADSR, cutoff or volume for example The goal is obviously to map one time my midi controler and just open a new synth and have the same controls auto mapped on it Less settings, more music ! That would be nice if FL Studio automatically could map things exactly how you want.. that is what I've always wanted.. I haven't taken too much time to learn Omni Mode.. but I know it can work for things like Mixer Inserts.. Regarding the ADSR of Virtual Instruments to remain consistent.. I think the easiest approach is just to set up each synth individually. Typically we don't use 100's of synths.. only a handful, so setup is actually really quick. AND.. you can backup the .flmapping file (where the Global Links are stored), and you can keep that file as you continue as a producer and keep modifying it. Look at my video about "How to Map Knobs & Sliders in FL Studio to a MIDI Controller".. you'll see I use the "Multilink to Controller".. it's super fast to set up 👍 itsgratuitous.com/multilink-to-controllers-flstudio/

I think FL Studio just loads the last color used. I don't think it can have a saved color palette, which you're getting at.. The workflow is pretty fast as is though! Just use F2 to open the rename window.. hit F2 again to select a random color, and if you want to re-use it, the next time you open the rename window, F3 will reuse the last saved color! It's a little cumbersome, but once you get the workflow down, the color coding really helps when you come back to a project later on.. you know exactly where you instruments are in the playlist & channel rack & mixer 👍 To keep learning with me, view my Beatmaking Education platform! itsgratuitous.com/ Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@itsGratuiTous Thanks for your explanation! I am asking about the saved color palette because I am setting up a stream deck for music production. I can load a plugin onto the selected track and rename it with one button press. It works great for a template with the colors already set up and auto naming is checked off in the general settings. I am just looking for a way to be able to change the colors using my stream deck. Thanks for your video!

It's been a great MIDI Keyboard for its price, compared to its competitors in terms of features & what you get. Remember, MIDI Keyboards are the end of the day are typically just plastic. So even high-end MIDI Keyboards are typically pretty cheap.. That's why I went with this model due to semi-weighted keys, and not forcing you into a portal software (like Native Instruments or Arturia) to activate other features. The Oxygen Pro's software is super lightweight (which you do not have to use), which allows you to create presets to modify almost every aspect of the MIDI Keyboard. It's been the best MIDI Keyboard I've used in terms of openness regarding functionality & customizing. Also, my Premium Template / MIDI Script gives a revolutionary FL Studio workflow due to FL Studio introducing MIDI Scripting in 20.7.. No, I think it's still relevant even in latest FL Studio Version? Project Links (Orange) are just for that project, they cannot be used in other projects. I have a bit of a problem, i ve been using this control for a long time, and suddenly I get this "You didn't tweak any control,, and it shows the green knob and it makes it impossible to assign , as if it's waiting for me to tweak something specific... i Must ve pressed something and changed the way it works... Hmm.. I think I'd need a video to see clearer.. Are you saying you've been using the Oxygen Pro, or just your controller for awhile? For the Oxygen Pro, you'll want to be in PRESET MODE as DAW MODE has been quite buggy for me in FL Studio. If you follow the steps in my video for How to Remove Links from a MIDI Controller Knob in FL Studio.. what isn't working? The green knob is always showing and when I press on multilink tool in hope of assigning something it says "You didn't tweak any control,, as if it's waiting for me to tweak something specific. By the way this problem accused right after I right clicked the multilink and obviously pressed something I shouldn't

If not, Image-Line forums support team are also super fast & helpful :) It should work just like shown in my video where you click "Multilink" tool, move the knobs with your mouse on a VST first, then move the knobs in the order you want them setup to the VST knobs you moved. so weird...I also hear a pop when turning off my CJ tube amplifier...but if i remember it didn't make the pop when I had a different brand of 6FQ7 input tubes...i'm going to test it by switching them back to the other tubes...I think the problem is the release of energy from either the transformer or capacitors, and that release make speakers pop when I turn off the CJ 11a Tube Amplifier...❓ maybe a resistor or capacitor somewhere on the amp would stop the pop...but I don't want to change any sound or ruin my amplifier❓

Yeah, Soft Takeover is what Absolute Knobs use.. otherwise the values would immediately jump high/low when you go to the next bank.. the best option is a MIDI Keyboard with endless encoders for the best experience.. but with absolute knobs.. soft takeover is a compromised solution. itsgratuitous.com/ You can see the current MIDI Keyboard I'm using: itsgratuitous.com/help/m-audio-oxygen-pro/

hi so i just bought this the workflow preset (3.0) works just fine but isn't the (1.0) version supposed to make the drum pads work? like every pad plays a different sound in the channel rack? it doesn't work for me when i load preset (1.0) i use the pro mini, i did load the free script and the premium one, and the daw is off

For Version 1.0.. YOU DO NOT need to use the Premium MIDI Script, just the FREE MIDI Script & the Version 1.0 Template. So for Version 1.0, it should be: Oxygen Pro 49 - (generic controller) MIDIIN3 - (OXYGENPROv3.0) [the FREE MIDI Script] For Version 3.0, it should be: Oxygen Pro 49 - (OXYGENPROv3.0-PREMIUM) MIDIIN3 - (OXYGENPROv3.0) Please see my Oxygen Pro help guides until I can reply back if you have more questions!!: itsgratuitous.com/help/m-audio-oxygen-pro/install-midi-script/ Version 1.0 is supposed to give just a normal MIDI Keyboard experience, so you can use your knobs, sliders, and drum pads however you want. I setup the drum pads to the same notes that the FPC Plugin gives.. I think starts at C#3.. The Oxygen Pro MIDI is a little different to the 25-Key, 49-Key, 61-Key & 88-Key models in terms of how M-Audio designed the MIDI Keyboards. Learned a lot here. I was searching for a way to assign the main volume to a knob on my MPK Mini. I was able to do it in FL Studio 12 just by hitting the "Multilink to controller" button, moving the main volume, and voilà! Just as you are explaining here. But I've made a tiny jump to FL Studio 21, and that way I'm not able to do it. For now, I'm just assigning a knob of my MPK to the master channel on the mixer. The funny thing is that old projects made with FL 12, which have the main volume assigned to an MPK knob, work great. What am I missing?

Yeah that was confusing for me, too.. I'm not sure if Image-Line let us know publicly they changed that workflow.. The new way is to automate the MASTER volume fader like you've figured out. I guess it's doing the same thing at the end of the day, and is now required to fade out a song so you don't get a super long ending with lots of silence time added I noticed.. No this is for the Oxygen Pro model, I wouldn’t risk trying the firmware update.. however the non-pro Oxygen MIDI Keyboard may have its own firmware you could try.. Yeah you have to save your changes to a preset. In the M-Audio Oxygen Pro Preset Editor, first import your current preset, make your changes then send it back into the Oxygen Pro. When sending back, DO NOT select RAM. RAM is temporary.. when you turn off, changes are gone. You must send & overwrite a PRESET. @@martinbielke8301 If you don't want to keep selecting USERDAW each time you turn on the Oxygen Pro, try this: - Turn on your Oxygen Pro & Load USERDAW on the Oxygen Pro MIDI Keyboard - Open Preset Editor - In Preset Editor, Select Retrieve Preset, then select RAM. RAM will load your currently selected preset on the Oxygen Pro. Since you've loaded USERDAW on the Oxygen Pro, then in the Preset Editor, retrieved the RAM preset, it should load your USERDAW in. Now overwrite the first DAW preset 👍 So go File -> Send Preset -> Preset 1 Your USERDAW should now have overwritten Preset 1 under DAW MODE. On your MIDI Keyboard hold down DAW button, select Preset 1, and now you should not have to load USERDAW anymore, as it's now on Preset 1, which should load as default.. I'm having troubles with the ninth slider on my M-Audio Oxygen Pro 61. The first 8 sliders appear in the little screan as "BANK 1 - SLIDER N", while the ninth just says "SLIDER". So i'm having troubles making it be recognizable through MIDI to my pc, even after assigning it in the preset editor. Is there a solution?

I went for the Oxygen Pro due to it having semi-weighted keys in the 49-key model. I also created a helpful hands-on workflow based off the drum pads: itsgratuitous.com/help/m-audio-oxygen-pro/ Haven't tried the other MIDI Keyboards you mentioned.

It depends on the MIDI Keyboard and the Controller type that's available for your MIDI Keyboard with FL Studio Defaults.. sometimes it doesn't work. But there's now MIDI Scripting available if you're stuck. Currently I'm using the M-Audio Oxygen Pro: itsgratuitous.com/help/m-audio-oxygen-pro/

If I understand you right, look up "Color group FL Studio". This allows you to trigger different MIDI Channels from your MIDI Notes in the Piano Roll, and has different note colors per MIDI Channel. itsgratuitous.com/

For music production I find it really hard to use.. especially for beatmaking like clicking in MIDI Notes or programming drum loops. For mixing / mastering it's not as hard.. I really like it for just simple computer tasks to give my hand a break from a normal mouse. You can also look into an upright mouse.. it's been a nice break, too! itsgratuitous.com/

Yeah it was a tricky one when I first found out years ago! Go to Settings -> File -> Double-click folder to remove -> delete text -> click away -> close settings. The folder should now be removed from FL Studio Browser 🙂 itsgratuitous.com/

It could be that maybe you've adjusted Channel Automation on that particular pattern. When you click in the pattern, do you see white kind of background at all, with the notes? itsgratuitous.com/
