Your voice 🙏 You should do guided meditation videos. Beautiful shots. I've been weighing up this camera and also a Sony a6000, which is an old camera, but I heard a lot of good things about it.

4 images with the lens? Maybe spend less time showing you composing your shots and more time showing actual results would be more helpful. The 4 photos were beautiful. I wanted to see more!

This was the first telephoto lens I bought to go with my new Pentax Spotmatic.I did not use it much but got a couple of my favorite shots form that time using it.

Last year I decided to move from APSC to Full Frame. I sold my Fujifilm cameras and lenses and a couple of Minolta SLRs’ that I owned. I bought nearly new Sony A7iii and A7riii bodies and a couple of second hand 28-70 mm kit lenses, I also still had eight old Minolta A Mount lenses. I have since sold all the Minolta lenses except the 70 -210 and the 28 -135 as when I compared the results these were the only two that offered something that the Sony 28-70 kit lens didn’t. The kit lens is a lot better than some reviews I have watched suggest it is, and a bargain if you are on budget.

I have a seen and heard a number of reviews where the 28-70mm kit lens was rubbished. My own experience is that I have a Sony A7iii and a A7riii. I tested the kit lens against some old Minolta and Sigma A Mount lenses that I own. For general photography I would I use the kit lens every time. Out of the five lenses that I compared the Minolta 70-200mm “Beercan” and the Sigma 10-20mm 1:3.5 DC HSM offered anything that the kit lens didn’t. Another underrated lens worth considering is the Sony E- Mount A FE 50mm F 1.8 .

I got mine today. The MD Celtic. It focusses closer than my other 135's, the Pentacon and the Tair. Even closer than my Fuji 90mm 2.0 does. I don't aim my sensor at the sun. Shoot some more street with it. And see what you can get wide open, at least in the center. On a Fuji X body, it becomes around a 203mm that has it's edges cropped. All good. M I don't know if you have a full frame sensor or not. The walkers in red were indeed excellent, but your doing your panorama stuff didn't grab me.

Does the image quality of the picture, when put on my computer, look the same as when I’m taking it, because my GoPro quality is absolute trash, the camera looks like it’s in 480p, but I don’t know if that’s just so I can what I’m taking a pic off, rather then the actual camera quality

2:21 No. Not lens. They are dust/dirt particles on the sensor. You will see them more often and more clearly (Annoyingly) when your view is a uniform surface like the sky and your diaphragm is closed or higher number F stop.

Hello, i hope you still doing great this year. I have question. Lens: Canon EF 17-40 F4 L Camera: Canon 5D mk ii & Sony A7ii Adpater: Viltrox EF Nex IV If i use canon FF sensor lens on canon FF camera and i shot on 17mm fl, the image output will be exactly 17mm wide. When i use canon ff lens on sony ff camera body with the adapter & i do the same shooting on 17mm, would i get same result? I mean i get exactly 17mm wide image, or it will be different like wider or narrower image because there's something called mount conversion factor? I ask this because im new to this adapter, and i want my canon lens work exactly like on my canon ff body.

I don't personally have experience with the Viltrox adapter, but as long as it supports full frame you will get the same result using the Sony camera with the canon lens as you would using the lens on the canon camera. There should be no conversion factor as they both have the same size sensor.

Similar to what I get. Too noisy for my taste, plus I can't seem to get the right vivid colours I need. I think it's because A7II is not great at ISO 1600

I cannot resist asking you, you say Christchurch, which if I am correct is in NZ. Though the accent sounds NI. I own this lens for my Minolta cameras XG1, and XRT-100X and love it. I have recently ordered an adapter MD-FX. I will keep in mind what you say about muted greens. Thanks for the video.

"Too fast too quickly" the Hindenburg burning was shot on a speed graphic or crown graphic 4 by 5 manual zone focusing. Set your lens A aperture priority choose f16 hyper focal from 3 feet to infinity sharp. Try it

Great overview of the lens, I just have a few questions regarding what the difference is for the Minolta MD Rokkor-X 135mm versus the Minolta MC TELE ROKKOR-QD 135mm f/3.5; does MC versus MD make a big difference? Which of the two came out first and is there a huge different in 2.8 versus 3.5 focus?

Hello. If the answer is still relevant. The MС series was earlier than the MD. MС series lenses are metal and glass. In the MD series, a rubber focus ring appears, and then with each model more and more plastic, in the latest version there are quite a few plastic parts. The MС had a single-layer coating. MD has a multilayer coating. If we are talking about 3.5, then there were 7 lenses of the MС series, all with the same optical design, 4 elements in 4 groups. There were 6 lenses in the MD series. And two options for optical circuits. 4 elements in 4 groups, three lenses. And three lenses were 5 elements in 5 groups. The later ones are considered the best. The mount is the same for MC and MD.

The MD Celtic is marvelous. Just get a great copy. I did, for 28 bucks. It's crazy how good it is.

love this camera, just got it. I was worried about the 24 megapixels compared to the 42 of the A7RII, but seems to be a none issue, i can crop to 4k twice, or supersample to just make sharper 4k pictures or timelapses.
