One of the last great rockers. I agree that the drums are far too loud, to the point of being annoying. Please fix this before your Aussie tour. xx

My favorite band of all time but he just can't pull it off vocally anymore. It's painful to watxh.
@chrisschack956Ай бұрын
If nobody ekse will say it - back off on the ,"He should quit" stuff. He is 77. If im still walking at 77 ill be happy. Look at what he can do , not cant. With the lifestyle he had for many years I would say he's in exceptional shape. His voice may have softened but not the flute. He's been playing since 1962- thats 62 years.
@stevet7487Ай бұрын
He began having vocal problems more than 40 years ago. Having seen every tour from TAAB on through Under Wraps, and a couple more, I stopped going because he just couldn't hit the notes any more. In one particular tour I saw at Universal Studios, he literally had a vaporizer at a table toward the back of the stage that was set up like a cafe scene. During extended instrumental sections, he would go back and try to get his vocal cards loosened up with the vaporizer. On the Under Wraps tour he cussed out the people in the front row after the first song because they were smoking pot and he told them it was killing his throat and if they didn't stop, he was going to stop the concert. He canceled the show the next night and flew back to England. In 1977 he had to cancel a show at the Anaheim Convention center because he had a throat infection. And those are just the things that I know of first-hand because I experienced them. As for his lifestyle, he was a smoker and I think that affected his vocal cords the most. He didn't allow drugs in the band and he required the band to perform sober. Still, probably the best shows I've ever seen in the early to mid 70's. And he still got it on the flute. It'll be a sad day when he stops touring.

His voice is sadly lost. Damaged it in the 80s when he didn't listen to advice when told to rest.

@FrontRow2023Ай бұрын
@matthiasjanbrungers4978Ай бұрын
@FrontRow2023Ай бұрын
@alfredmeier459Ай бұрын
Du bist also quasi ein ewig gestriger.
@joedreibholz434929 күн бұрын

Sorry Fish on hearing this I am so glad that the opportunity to see your farewell tour did not come my way, Your voice has gone and I would be sorely dissappointed to pay good money to hear this. Maybe you recognise the time has come to hang up the microphone but to my ears it sounds a little late.
