The sound design was impeccable. Just the sound of the machinery itself caused a sense of unease.

This part of the game is always so unsettling everytime I replay it or watch it on youtube. The growl of the AMS as the test begins, you start to picture the entire world in those last few moments, what everyone was doing at the time. Families, people at the movie theater, or the mall or just having a normal day at work, all that would immediately come to a gloomy end when the crystal was brought into contact with the AMS.
