Cool tune Kai! A lot of people play this in Québec sessions. Les Éboulements is a really nice place to go in Charlevoix. fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_%C3%89boulements I love to play it on harmonica. Thanks for that moment! 🤜🤛

Hey thanks! It's such a great tune, I'll have to check it out some time -- although the same can be said about so many tunes named after places :P

Kai, I can’t hear anything wrong with your left hand technique. (You should never run yourself down, fiddle is hard enough as it is)

Where does Kai find all of these unusual tunes?
@kaigronbergmusic21 күн бұрын
Many from just jam sessions and tune books! This one I learned from a tune book for when I competed in the Andy Dejarlis category at the John Arcand Fiddle Fest

It's 25th Aug 24 and I've just stumbled onto these vids you've been making for the last 8 months, quite the undertaking. I'm learning the fiddle myself and content like this gives me ideas for tunes and inspiration to keep practising, so thank you for posting and for your dedication to the task you've set yourself, very admirable.

Thanks Paul for your comment! Keep on practicing and feel free to learn any/all of the tunes I've posted ;)

I love playing waltzes. The fiddle was made for them. I remember Bob Wills played a lot of them.
