I do not have anything against Brittany and the decision she made, and have sympathy for her. But suicide is a sin so Brittany most likely would not b in heaven.

I was standing in line inside a Bank of America branch located in Teaneck, New Jersey at lunchtime as the next customer to be called. Casually, I turned and looked at the people standing in line behind me, taking a glance at the person standing right behind me. I saw a man wearing a denim jacket and a baseball cap while looking down at the papers he was holding. I turned back around, thinking that the guy standing behind me may be from the Islands. I turned around again, looking at the guy when the thought came to me that his face resembled that of Ben E. King. I said to him, "You look a lot like Ben E. King". He said, "Is that right". He did not look up at all. I asked him, "Did anyone ever tell you that? He did not respond. I turned back around thinking that he could be Ben E. King...take a chance and ask him if he is Ben E. King. I turned around again and asked him, "Are you Ben E. King?" He broke up into a smile and said, "Yes, I am". I ran into him at least three times moving about in Teaneck during the next two years, sometimes seeing him driving his Mercedes Benz sports car with the plate: BEK50. The last time I saw him he was coming out of the Teaneck Main Post Office. I remembered a song recorded called "Oh My Love" and the lead singer sounded like him and I asked him if he and the Drifters recorded that song, he said yes. He looked a bit frail on that day. That was the last time I saw him. He always presented himself as being friendly and dignified. I remember that he was a short man with a strong voice for singing. His recording of "Moon River" is beautiful, particularly flavored with the soul and style of Mr. Ben E. King whose sound will always be remembered.

Brian Moore: I don't know to much about you, but your a good man who wanted to help the good people of New York City. Your a person who will stand in the way of evil to protect the good. You, sir, are a hero to us all and an inspiration to those of us who want to do good in this world. Even though you cannot read this message, I know this will reach you in some way. Rest in peace my brother, you will always live in on in our hearts, through duty, honor and courage. Never Forget.

I feel this needs to be said: my father is a retired police officer so call me a kissup but I have always had a deep level of love and respect for law enforcement. But now officer's Ramos and Liu have now reaffirmed how I look at the men and women who are willing to risk their lives to maintain order. RIP to both officers and my deepest sympathies to their families.

Thank you for posting. When a police officer is killed, firefighters also feel the pain, and vice versa. I attended Det. Ramos' funeral and saw a very large contingent of firefighters there to say farewell to him, and I am sure it was the same for Det. Liu.
