What a stupid set of maps. It doesn't even start with a map of British Mandate of Palestine. Why even start there in 1917? Palestinians, when referred to in history books, always referred to Jews before 1960s. Non Jews were Arabs defined by pan-Arabism. It was only after Israel was created that Arabs in the area redefined themselves as 'Palestinians'.

Complete lies. Those maps are 100% false. In 1947 8.6% of the land was owned privately by Jews or Jewish organizations. 20.2% of the land was owned by Arabs. More than 70% was state land controlled by the Mandate power. After the Arabs refused to partition the land and attacked the Jews and lost, 16.9% of the land that the Arabs owned was deemed abandoned by hostile absentee Arab owners who left willfully at the behest of the advancing Arab armies or were displaced. After the war, 8.6% was owned privately by Jews, 3.3% by Israeli Arabs, and all lands of absentee owners and the 70% of State land was vested to the State of Israel.
