Great tweed collection. I have a sport jacket from this specific fabric producer and it is terrific. Herringbone is my favorite pattern by the way. I am surprised that it is not so popular in Holland. Congrats on your vlog and by all means, please continue to present fabric samples, I really enjoy these vids.

Ik heb een zwart MTM pak, maar het heeft geen patroontje in de stof. Achteraf gezien jammer, want het zwarte pak kan best iets interessants gebruiken. We hoeven er niet uit te zien als een beveiliger op de begrafenis van een geliefde. Dat visgraatje is fantastisch.

Thanks. Ook hier sluit ik me bij aan. Uni stoffen worden als snel ook saai dus daarom is een micro weave, dus geen micro wave waar je een broodje Bapao mee opwarmt, een must. :) Visgraat is overigens het enige motief dat optisch altijd werkt met welk patroon ook en ook volgens de etiquette kan.

Ik zou altijd een tweede broek erbij laten maken. Het jasje gaat gewoon veel langer mee dan de broek. Kost een beetje extra, maar toch ben je voordeliger uit. Tenzij je een modieuze keuze hebt gemaakt dat 5 jaar later weer uit de mode is, maar ja.

I would have used the term Worsted rather than flannel for this cloth....they are all fine Worsted samples from Hardy Minnis

Both actually, with green you have a more natural flowing look and with blue you create a stronger contrast. It is a matter of taste.

Flannel or worsted? They are different things

Yes they are. The simple answer lies in the type of woollen thread used in the production of the cloth. For worsted the woollen thread is made by the long fibres being parallel to each other and therefore smoother. For flannel, the fibres in the thread are intermingled and shorter giving a rougher texture.
