I've literally been practicing for like 2 to 3 hours a day for the past couple of weeks. Taking a bit of a break from it, but I plan on getting back into it again. I a thousand or so hours in it got me the only 40 or so with the drifting

I have 1600 hours on beamng, most of which is drifting, and i hate to admit that the first 20 seconds looked better than me. i dont know why i just cant drift high power cars, around 250 N/A hp for me, using the brakes to rotate and handbrake to extend while flicking it to initiate drifts.

assualt rifle with the underbarrel shotgun is best at dealing with the flood. Also it is highly recommended to have to the 2x explosion radius skull on.

I see you're using a controller, it seems like the car is counter-steering by itself rather than wheels pointing straight. Are you using a mod for that or is that the default behaviour ?

It is actually overseer assist and that's the default Behavior. I haven't set the 100 I haven't been slowly trying to back off of it, but honestly that would be like trying to play project cars to uncontroller with no assist. I see it as a necessary evil but when I get my steering wheel set up I will be removing all of this and learning again

SOME TIPS: 1. Cargo delivering is the BEST. Way to make money 2. Best way to sell vehicles is to take off all the parts take then sell them then sell the car (this worked in 0.31 idk if it still works) 3. (MOD) there is a career improving mod which adds, police, nodegrabber, more dealerships (more cars to buy), more cargo options, and more 4. For vehicle cargo the bewt way is to buy a tow truck and for more vehicle transportation the A-1 trailer (MOD) 5. Red light cameras are at one spot (that i know of) which is on the downhill next to the parking garage! And there are speed cameras in some areas 6. HAVE FUN!

Yeah I feel like for me cuz I'm used to racing an actual car I feel like it would be a little more second nature for me, but I don't really know how the feedback is going to work out. I don't know if I can get it lifelike where when I rotate the back end the wheel will turn the opposite direction or what. I just know there are some keybinds that I have now that don't work on controller very well

Top Tip* when entering and exiting your vehicle don’t forget to open and close the door for maximum immersion. And even better enter and exit from cockpit view.

I've been following them since launch, I didn't get to start playing though until later but after they switched from the cry engine to the blame engine I think it's called I started playing it pretty regularly. If you're hitting rev limiter, you're likely not in a high enough gear, shift up one gear. And everyone who drifts controller online is using oversteer assist.

Hey Dan. Just a tip from a 3k hours player and 1k hours drifter on beam. Try starting with heavier cars. The new Bastion drift car is a good one. Also, any old car is good too. Just make sure to do this 4 things. Obviously drift steering rack, welded rear diff, full negative camber and THE MOST important of them all: FULL 100% CASTER. If i may suggest a car, the Barstow. And no more than 250hpish

Yea I have gotten pretty decent at this car but my plan is to slowly work away from using any assists, I'm thinking that I may just have to treat the assist like I would force feedback on a steering wheel
