i feel extremely ignorant looking at these sculptures and their intention. maybe I'm misinterpreting the artists' expressions. reading other people's comments aren't very helpful. I just feel like this kind of information shouldn't be suppressed or concealed away from the public its just creates more confusion due to ignorant beliefs an ego that cloud our ability to clearly an openly share information. the people who created these kinds of places most likely functioned on higher frequency during that time period, an were able to complement each other's existence by pleasing one another. i think this kind of work speaks volumes into our species' fearful ignorant behaviour to each other an especially around sensual/sexual expression an exploration that every human being is entitled to but stripped from due to the culture their born into that create illusions of constrictions based off of fear an insecurity.
