Hi, you used only clear coat? My painter said, it will be problem with peeling. I have Xdiavel and Breakeout and I wana the some gastank :-)

Yeah, I agree about you hatin'... It is inspired by Jared's XD but the tank is not the same. The black top of the tank is different. Also, this one is a work in progress and Jared's has been done for like 5 years at this point.

Yes, believe it or not, there are now TWO XDs with similar (INSANELY GORGEOUS) tanks. I *THINK* this world just might be big enough for both of 'em! 😂

It depends on your local custom guy. Not including shipping, the guy that did it for me, would charge somewhere around $2,500.

What a great catch! Getting it fixed tomorrow. I recently had the seals replaced on my forks and they must have not put the bolt back in. Thank you.

Wez - you most likely saved me from a really bad crash. All my bolts except one were loose and coming off. I had a local Ducati shop fix a leak on my forks and they forgot to tighten the bolts. Good looking out.

Lovely job with the tank! Can I ask which Ohlins rear shock you have? Its something I'm looking to change on my one, not too happy with the stock suspension!

Ohlins I believe only offers one product for the xdiavel. Call them and based on your weight they will send you the right shock. By far, the best upgrade ever. Highly highly recommend it!

Beautiful bike! That gas tank is a work of art. I would leave the gas cap as is. The silver finish offsets nicely against the black portion of the tank, and ties in perfectly with the swing arm.

Sick bike . I have a 2022 , how much does the ohlins suspension help ? Did you ride it before you got it ?

I did have the standard suspension and the Ohlins is night and day different. I have the 16 model which came with the not so good suspension. I believe the suspension was updated for model year 19 and up. All that said, highly recommend Ohlins.

@@gtg830e Great... planning to get mine soon with similar upgrades plus the carbon wheels. Everyone has the BST wheels so i am looking at the Rotobox or Kineo. Tossed up between getting the Diavel and xDiavel. Leave the backrest and make our "BETTER HALF" happy. They are more important than so-called loners or purists

Hey Andy, I would definitely recommend the NRC turn signals. Cleans up the front just right. In all honesty, I don’t remember the MM and don’t want to tell you the wrong thing. I would say, give them a call and they will for sure help. They are good people over there. Thanks.

Looks amazing, really designed well for the look of the bike. Rode one of these a few weeks ago with the akra pipe, loved the bike and the sound. Wish the pipe were a little louder though, maybe there was a baffle in the pipe but I didn't look. Bike was way too long for me though... With mid or mid forwards like a Harley I could own one.

@@gtg830e your not wrong. I went to the dealer to test ride one but they lied to me about a few things and gave me a massive bumsteer so I bought nothing from them. Ended up with a Yamaha MT-01 anyway for interest sakes. One day when the price comes down I'll look at buying a diavel 1260. The sound of that 1260 motor though is 👍

Excellent! You will love it. The color combination was all provided by Zard. I would highly recommend calling them to get the color combo I got. Black with silver caps.
