I'm a Bolin fan for sure. What a body of work for such a short career.

I love that Have A Nice Day box set from Rhino along with the 80s and 90s ones they did. I need a bigger room as my wall space is almost floor to ceiling with records. Kind of waiting for the floor to cave in. Enjoyed the books. My I Pod crapped out I do have a spare but all the music I had was in a very old computer so now I just use my phone. Enjoyed the tour. We need to work with you on proper alphabetizing. I did work 4 years at the library in college. I can come and and get you set up with the Dewey decimal system.

What a fantastic room 🙂 Queen and Thin Lizzy. What a night that must have been? Queen played a small (1000 seat) hall in my hoe town in 1973 with MTH and then in 1974 headlining but I was way too young to go>. I was 9/10 😞 I saw Lizzy in an even smaller venue in 2003. John Sykes, Brian Downey and Scott Gorham were in the band then.

Very cool rooms! I have a question for your filing. It looked like you had your records in chronological order as most of us do. My question is for reissues. Do you file them under the original release date or the date of the reissue? I keep going back and forth on this. But it looks weird to have a Led Zeppelin debut after CODA because its a reissue

I have that Ten Years After album but I can’t say I ever listen to it. I think it’s actually more popular to crap on Billy Joel in the vc than it is for people to like him. So that was a cop out pick. I give you credit though for picking the Police, even though they’re actually one of my favorite bands. For a country connection you could have picked Muswell Hillbillies by the Kinks. Or even maybe The Band. The Stones do some great country songs. “Country and Western “? What are you, 90 years old? No one says that. I envy the vacation spots you have been to. Those are some of my dream destinations. Why do I feel like you have a “special “ hidden room in your house with a Tommy Bolin poster on the ceiling over a single bed? The shirt design is very cool. Wow. You just ragged on two of my favorites in R.E.M and Elvis Costello. Oh Well. Stockholm is a great pick as I really enjoyed my stay there. I would like to go back to Switzerland as I have only been to Interlaken. Roberto Clemente is a great pick. Way to work in Tommy Bolin a couple of times. I just played his album Private Eyes yesterday.

4500 cds holy!!! i think i have around 200 so far, Bob is actually one of the few artist were i listened to all 40 of his album i think blood on the tracks is my favorite from him. also saw the movie "a complete unknown" that was very good!

Ive only listened to 2 albums this year. "A dream is all we know" by the lemon twigs and "Wall of eyes" by The smile and neither were that great.

this makes sense that'd youd pick 1973 because i know how much you love dark side! this was a very good year i think this was my 3rd year that i have the most albums from.

I used to have all the Ten Years After albums either on CD or vinyl or cassette from the debut to About Time. Hey, Moxy! I just showed that in a video for some reason.

Here's a concert memory.. Jazz group from the Netherlands, Willem Breuker Kollektief playing in San Francisco. He leads the band off stage and goes down the aisle. Reaches over, scritches my girlfriend on top of her head and then the band members all do the same. That was a once in a lifetime kinda thing. I have at least a thousand jazz albums but only a handful of C&W. Rose Maddox anyone?

Hi Steve!!! I think it's really cool and "honest" showing also what albums were a disappoinment, you don't see many channels doing it..... you can't always pick great music. Anyhow it was really nice seeing The Black Crowes, Bruce D. and Purple so high in your list, but the coolest surprise has to be the Cure at #1!!! I guess it's never to late to "discover a classic band" like those guys...... cheers and be well

My first CD player was around the '84 time frame as well. Paid maybe around $500 or so, and it was as big as my mom's dining room table! Not surprised with the size and breadth of your CD collection, Steve. I have been selling off my CD'S online for a while now, but keeping some choice box sets, and all my Dylan. Rollling Thunder Review is up there for me. I love that galloping, foot stomping version of 'A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall'.😎🎶
