Thank you for using my song Nothing Waltz. I didn't know people used my music like this 😭
@tanderino424 ай бұрын
There's actually a funny (quite mundane) story about that, as I said in the beginning of the video back in like September I was working on a Yume Nikki video and eventually a video from (I'm pretty sure your second channel) Postcards from the White Desert showed up in my recommended, which redirected me to your channel where Nothing Waltz was one of the most recent uploads, I watched you backlog when I noticed it was the same melody as Into The and downloaded both (I think it was for a bit in the Yume Nikki video where it would crossfade between the two?) But when I was making this video I only had like 15 minutes and couldn't feel like downloading any music that wasn't already on my hard drive. I love your work and the new Calico episode is great! :333 (Sorry I used the song in the fortnite video)

Yeah they got rid of the skilltree. 🤔 Gaining skills by wearing clothes is not a good idea. I love Far Cry 6. But they should have kept the good things of Far Cry 5. I miss rescuing roadside hostages in FC5 and then hiring them if they're pretty girls. Who help me back up when im down. And I love the perk that lets me have two guns for hire at once. So I chose two ladies and go with my girls on adventures and road trips. What both games have in common is that they are both missed opportunities. Want more Far Cry 5? Play Far Cry New Dawn. I testarted it a couoke if weeis ago for a third playthrough and i love it. I went back to it especially because of the double jump. It is better than Far Cry 6's double jump.

i get that biker is in the bar of broken heroes, but so is pardo, which, like evan dies because of the nuke, besides you can see biker in evan first level's intro. biker was probably high during the fight with jacket at phone hom. loved the video btw.

25:12 what are you on about "groomed as a child" ?
@tanderino424 ай бұрын
@aPol.01 Grooming is a very loaded word which I chose very deliberately, it doesn't actually mean anything sexual but just means to prepare someone for a specific objective. The war in Hawaii is a pretty direct reference to the Vietnam war, in Vietnam, America was indirectly fighting Russia by fighting "Russia's ideology." In practice this meant simply invading Vietnam for using their democracy to pick their own economic system, but in the alternate history of HM2 the cold war wasn't relegated to proxy wars in third world countries but escalated to having Russians invade the American territory of Hawaii. In Vietnam a fairly high amount of soldiers were drafted, and far more felt pressured into signing up for the military so they would have more choices on how they would serve. The draft age was between 18 and 26, the brain becomes mostly developed at 25, and voting age at the time was higher than it is now at 21. If Jacket was drafted, it wouldn't be a stretch to say he was fresh out of high school (which he probably would be seeing as his jacket is a letter print which is stereotypically worn by high school athletes, and seeing his emotionally stunted state it could be something he latches onto from his time before the war) and forced into the military which conditions its members to view violence as noble. I don't know if JROTC existed back in the 70s and 80s when Jacket grew up, but in some modern high schools kids as young as 14 are being forced to join a military program or they won't be able to graduate with a high school diploma, which is disgusting and should be shamed. Joining the military is one of the most unhealthy things you can ever do for your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing. The only way which they're able to get new recruits is by deliberately raising a child in a way which will get them to feel comfortable for an objective you want them to carry out, getting themselves needlessly killed in some oil conflict. One thing which I regret not mentioning is how Jacket's military experience is translated to his experience as a 50 blessings operative. Obviously there's his combat ability, but also the way he's able to interpret the messages on the answering machine. In Beard's Hawaii levels it's revealed that the military also uses very obviously coded terms which, the military groomed Jacket to be a soldier by drafting him and that abuse is what specifically made him perfect for serving the interests of 50 blessings, an organization which more or less single-handedly ended the world.

This was a fantastic video and you should be proud of yourself. I really enjoyed watching it and I think you provided a very "real" and thoughtful reflection on this game while also recognizing the potential its story had. I love Far Cry but I still havent quite played Far Cry 6... I'll see how I feel soon

While I almost completely disagree with your opinion on far cry 6 I enjoyed the video I personally think it is objectively the best far cry game from a gameplay perspective but the story was also really good not the best story as imo far cry 3 and 4 had more engaging stories but yeah usually I instantly quit watching the video if it seems negative but your content is really good I subscribed I'm the 201st sub 😊

Its a story game, tf do you expected? New way to play the game each playthrough?
@GreatPower10005 ай бұрын
I'm sad you didn't mention that if you kill the Sean McKay you get a charm that makes poisoned enemies drop cash, a literal metaphor for how capitalism poisons people for money. It was a choice objective, If you let him live you got a small amount of the dineros but if you kill him you can make so many more just using that wristband (I think its a wristband.) Its actually probably why they don't acknowledge Juans betrayal, they didn't expect for it to have meant anything.
