This album has been such an integral part of my life ever since my brother showed me this album when it came out. It never fails to make me emotional, especially with everything that happened to Andrew as soon as he wrapped up recording it. Amazing story behind it all and so touching still to this day.

Ive been to so many concerts and followed him around the country and work for his foundations...and he's a dear friend of mine. these songs arent about cancer. this album was mostly about kelly (his now wife, then ex gf) and this album was written before the cancer...so they arent about cancer xD

it was released after his cancer, but he was diagnosed the day he finished the record. That means the entire album preceded his battle with cancer. Watch the dear jack documentary; it acknowledges the eeriness, but explains the whole process of the album.

McMahon's name for the band Jack's Mannequin stemmed from his relationship with a boyhood friend named Jack who died of cancer. Of course, the name took on a lot more meaning when Mr. McMahon himself battled cancer.

Protip. Andrew completed recording the album the same day he was diagnosed with cancer. Any allusions to the cancer found in the lyrics on Everything in Transit are merely coincidental.

Protip. this song isn't about a break up. or breaking up. or relationships. its about how the singer developed cancer and his struggle through it and how it affects everyone around him. -alot- of his more recent songs in both bands are about it.

Andrew was diagnosed with cancer 3 months prior to the release of "In Transit". The songs were already written and recorded. It was important to him that this album was released, if he didn't survive. Touring for the album was put on hold. You didn't give anyone a "protip", lol.

Man I miss those days, felt like I was living in a bubble back then, oh to be young and free, now I'm in my late 20s with a family of my own, hard to believe I used to listen to this on repeat on my good ol classic ipod cursing god for even introducing me to the bitch who broke my heart back then, every now and then I always youtube this song and remember even though the pain was great back then, they really were the fucking days I wish I had back lol
