I liked the Joker poster and the LaRoy, Texas posters. It would be great to see a tutorial on one of them. Thanks for reviewing.

If you enhance it again using a tool like Enhancepix, you’ll achieve a watercolor effect that feels even more realistic.

Hello! I love this tutorial. I am trying with my own files, but my graphic doesn't appear when I follow the 'place embedded' step. I return from the .PSB file and nothing has appeared on the transparency/distorted layer. Did you link all of your files somehow prior to the tutorial? Thank you!

I love these where you give your expert critiques on published work - especially movie posters. Beekeeper was my favorite poster this year - so I was happy to see it included in your group too!

Agreed LaRoy, Texas, works well. It isnearly a duplicate of the "get rid of the body" sequence of Blood Simple - the Coen Brothers and Frances McDormand's first movie. Great, if you haven't seen it.

Love your annual movie poster critiques, definitely top fave! 😍 Agree that the Dolby version of the Alien poster was spot-on from the original. I didn't really care for the other versions. I found them too predictable, too "evil" dark, or too off-genre.

I like the Alien poster, great color BUT the white border kept drawing my eyes away from the main part. A bit darker border would of helped.

on woman of the hour you seem to forget the type was to match the time period it was set in
@nuclylearn13 күн бұрын
The type itself isn't bad-it's just competing with the background typography.
@lillyskye83113 күн бұрын
@@nuclylearn agree on the competing stylized retro fonts. Even though the movie title itself is a retro style, "The Dating Game" font was definitely type-specific for the genre, so it might have been a better design choice to make the movie title the same, since "The Dating Game" is muted and shadowed in the background.

I love your insight on these posters. Not to sure if you seen the poster “The Chosen, Season 4” poster. It’s amazing with so many characters on the poster. It’s very emotional with several of the actors on the poster crying.

how are you clipping layers? I've never seen that before. Thank you!
@nuclylearnАй бұрын
At the bottom of adjustment layers, there's a clipping icon. Simply push that and it will clip the layer to the one below it. You can also hold option/alt and click between the two layers.
