How does the back fire kit work

Quick question, why do you need to solder the esc and the motor wires together? The XD10 esc doesnt need soldering, why does this esc need it?

Great video! In my country it’s cheaper to buy the 2wd version and convert to 4wd and make brushless myself than to buy the already 4wd brushless version. Do you know if the brushless 4wd has any other better components than the 2wd except for electronics?

Nice video. I bought the dirt claw tires. I'm very happy with the grip, the tread, the durability and the glue job, aside from one wheel in which the tire is glued on unevenly, causing wobble. Still 10 times better than the dboots Fortress MT tires. I run em on a 3s Granite with Typhon arms and turnbuckles, a 150 amp ESC, 16 tooth pinion and a 35kg servo from DSServos. Almost never rolls over in turns on grass gravel and dirt, but i turn down the dual rates a little bit when the tires are brand new, they grip almost too much for driving on asphalt. Way better glue job than Proline tires, Proline really fell off quality-wise after the buyout. I run at least 6 packs through them a week and they show very little signs of wear, mostly on the inner edges, because my toe was out really bad for a couple weeks.

Trx4 is best 👌 Raptor R coggs too much I have the Raptor R it's not good but it's still a killer truck

Nice review and upgrades… I recently bought a gently used cj7 thinking it was gonna be a great trail/crawler like the early bronco was/is….but after initially testing it kind of sucks as a crawler ….being a scale trail rig is great tho…. Seems to get stuck on just about everything and flips over easy. It already has better wheels/tires but I think it needs a rear sway bar…has a long of torque twist…..and maybe some weight up front.

Nice! Next you should swap all the buckles to link setups. The stock MST calls for some toe out that you can achieve with adjustable front end and track width

I grabbed my vortex boost about a month ago and it was on sale on Amazon for $139 and put the boost 4x4 kit in it along with the arrma blx brushless system in it, right now with the 17 tooth that came installed its doing 55,it also came with a 18 and a 20 tooth pinion gear as well

Is your body offset to the side or are your rear wheels offset set differently. The left rear wheel is way inside the wheel arch and the right is flush @9:19. If so. Explains why it want to straighten up mid drift and drifts better one way over the other

I got my Vorteks boost 4x2 about a month ago and I installed the 4x4 upgrade and Wednesday I bought the ARRMA 3S boost brushless kit . I got everything connected till I had to try ancestral clip the motor to the diff and it would not clip . I ended up taking it to my hobby shop and they are looking after it but I got my 3s lipo zeee battery’s

Like the video! My hardest hurdle to overcome is I dont have a great surface to play on, I use the asphalt in front of the house and it tears up 'tires' and offers zero traction. Spontanious oversteer.
