Good band. Good song. Guitar reminds me of Jack White. A lot, too

Not going to lie - this is the only video of theirs that I think takes away from the song

Why does this song feel like it's describing the internalized thoughts of a killer on the run? 😂

Does anyone know what the 78 record he’s playing in this is called? I’d love to know always wondered.

[Verse 1] I used to dance on a bear trap I used to sing into it's jaws The cold steel and spring was the soundtrack To sharpen my teeth and my claws I manufacture my demons Before the assembly line I stared down on the production ground A mind full of my own design [Chorus 1] Before the fire I was a walking heart attack Before the fire Never thought of the end Now everything's gone And it's never coming back Everything's gone Everything's gone Gone Gone [Verse 2] I took my innocencе for granted The future bеlong to the old Someday feel so far away And now is all that I can hope I used to live with an open mouth My ears were only for my words And any cautionary word took a buckshot As they pretend to freedom of choice [Chorus 2] Before the fire I was a walking heart attack Before the fire Never thought it would end Now everything's gone I know it's never coming back Everything's gone Everything's gone [Chorus 3] Before the fire I was a walking heart attack Before the fire Never thought of the end Now everything's gone I know it's never coming back Everything's gone Everything's gone Before the fire I was a walking heart attack Before the fire Never thought of the end Now everything's gone I know it's never coming back Everything's gone Everything's gone [Intro] Gone Gone Gone Gone Gone

Very well executed and fine for those that love it, sure. Creatively it's drowning in "revivalist meh", though. It's like Kingdom Come and dozens of other mid-'80s acts all over again but with a period-corrected retro sound.

This song in particular is like owning a top-notch thoroughbred racehorse. Sometimes you just got to let the horse out of the barn. Scott's on fire like always. The band is tight tight tight. J you are a bird that sings.

I used to work for a car maker and I had a little office in the basement where I kept an eye on all the paint. There was a radio that could pick up about three radio stations and one of the stations played hard rock. After hearing this song about a dozen times I started paying attention. I thought, "That singer is just wailing!" Now I love the song. Thanks.
