This was a really helpful video. If I hadn't watched it before I started replacing the mirror, I would have been swearing a lot when I found out that I needed to open up the door panel to get to the connector.

Easier if you pull the whole door panel . Takes an extra 3 minutes to pop the rest of the panel off. Remove screws and use your pry bar.

It’s a tubular one off American trucks. It’s a piece of shit though it started rusting out the box. Had to coat it in bed liner and still rusty a bit.

54 year old lady here with zero automotive experience and I did this in 30 min! Thanks to this video! I used pry bars fpr changing bicycle tires to pop the gasket/panel back on. Unfortunately I dropped one of the bars into the door cavity in the process. Window works and there's no rattling so I'm goingnto ignore that for now. Thank you!

Bought my truck yesterday and driver rear blink and brake quit today, , looks the exact same lights with the orange color resistors. 2011 f150. It fast blinks up front but driver rear has no brake or blink but parking lights and reverse work. Any advice? Subbed nice video.

It's a WHOLE LOT EASIER if yall pop all the pins loose including the bottom. Lift up with ease and will pop in place on top and all the holes line up. Don't need all the prying tools. Flat head screw drive, 8mm socket , and a oring pick to pop plastic panel by door handle and the cover of the mirror bolts.

These are the backlash pipes right? How was the install? And did you need to tune it or anything?

They are similar to the backlash but have 2.5 tips instead of 2.25 and are a bit longer. They are called the barbarian you can call STG GARAGE and he will know. You will want to tune it most likely. Dyno jet power commander V.

@@StruddleToaster you can use a preloaded tune on the power commander from dynojet 16-025. When it’s installed I can send you tune but only if you have 2 into 1 pipes and aftermarket air intake
