I put potatoes, cucumbers and other such vegetables on the top shelf because it is the warmest. Because they go bad if it gets too cold in the salad drawer which is too cold for potatoes and cucumber. I know what you are thinking but keeping potatoes on the top shelf prevents them from growing and they last longer. I use the salad drawer for stuff that doesn´t care what temperature it is.

How apt -this video is 6 years old my 2265B is just 6 years old and the temp control has become erratic and it erratically burns baled bread to a black crisp. Tried new temp sensor (£300 fitted) and that didn't fix it. New controller is over £400 - you do the maths. I bought this because I had 10 years fault free with its predecessor. On delivery I quickly noticed that Miele had significantly lowered the build quality but I stuck with it - wish I had sent it back when we had problems from the very start when this needed an engineer from to fox a few problems. Miele is no longer a premium brand but sets the prices to fool you into thinking that you get what you pay for - trading on its reputation.

Great product showcase. I miss my appliances direct amcor air conditioning unit. 😅I was amazed when it turned my bed sit into a fridge in a matter of minutes and works really well with sash windows and the extendable bar kit during a heat wave 12 years ago. The unit was good for about 8 years I would say, my new one is not nearly as good, I would say go for a heater option for winter too.
