It looks great! Are the air bags really necessary? Meaning, would you be likely to lose the canoe without them?
@Trilordy4 күн бұрын
Without them the canoe is way more prone to getting wrapped around a rock or pined somewhere. The bags also make it easier to recover and not get destroyed if that happens.
@hntrains24 күн бұрын
@@Trilordy, are there such bags which are fitted with a zipper? So you can also store some of your stuff in them (and not waste so much of the canoe space)?

Is that a carbon fiber paddle? If it is carbon, how does it hold up to river canoeing? You don’t worrry about snapping it off if you get it caught between rocks?

Always been a fan or GRB canoes and you make that Classic XL look like a great paddling boat. Although I'm a flat-water kind of guy, you can send me your Classic XL if you ever tire of it. Sorry about the fish strike @ 5:30, but it looks like both you and the the lil fella survived with no real damage. Wish I could have seen the catfish you mentioned, but that's half the fun of being out there paddling; all the strange and beautiful things that you get to see. Keep up the great content.

Great video and another great mod to your Fashback. I still enjoy every glimpse I get of your custom saddle setup. Did you layup your spray-deck from carbon fiber cloth or fabricate it from prefab carbon fiber panels? Regardless, great work and equally great finesse with the paddle.

Thanks, not this time. It was something the company I used to work for was experimenting with and I bought the panels from them.
