It appears that the work was limited to changing oil seals and O rings. I would have expected that the clutch plates inside the dual clutch would have, at least, been inspected and probably replaced. All that work just for seals?

Básicamente es uns trasmisión standar con una mecatrónica unos robots que mueven las orquillas, son más difíciles las transmisiónes automáticas, solo debes de programar el módulo después de haber hecho la reparación. Si no será en vano

This is normal, the surface seal only dries out between metal. On the outside it is still liquid

It should be hidden behind the starter motor. I believe some mechanics don't bother with it because it's a pain to reach.

You should never use scuff pads in engine without heavy cleaning afterwards. They leave a lot of fine dust from abrasive material (e.g. 40 µm particles of Al2O3) which is circulating in oil and causing a damage to an engine (sealing surfaces, bearings etc.)

Marvious what you are capable of with the Wright tools doing the same steps in Australia is impossible to get the job done gear box would be ready for recycling bin and if the Bow made it in the car would be on the back of a tow truck and nakered

Hello. I need to assemble a very similar air-cooled engine. Should I use Elring Curil-T2 instead of Victor-Reinz Reinzosil sealant? Won't Curil T-2 cause leaks at sensetive places such as cylinder-to-block joints as shown in video, oil pan, valve covers? If Curil-T2 doesn't harden then how it prevents leaks? Could you please explain me as I don't understand this. Thank you

Another question, my Mercedes A-Class car, year 2000, leaks a little through the crankcase from a hole that I solder, does it seal it?
