I traded my portly Honda CTX1300 for the TransAlp. I love it! A totally different type of riding for me. I live in Western North Carolina. The bike was made for this area. It handles great in the twisties. I look forward to taking it to the Dragon.

Just got a 2024 M850i with B&W stereo. It sucks. No pop, very tinny. Burmester in the Panamera is so far superior it's not even fair.

I like how GM designs their EV's separate than the gas versions. Unlike some people I do not like it when companies share the body of their EV's with the gas versions. For example if choose an EV from BMW I would pick iX and not i4 or i7 because it is not sharing the design with the gas versions.

Charlie, if you want to test out Tesla FSD v12, you can do a test drive from Tesla. All the cars have been updated to v12. I test drove the new Model 3 and Model Y recently and v12 performed really well. You can also ask Tesla for overnight demo drives, if they have availability, they'll let you take one, they are usually very chill about it. I am also curious to hear your take on the refreshed Model 3, from my short drive, I thought it has improved significantly from my 2019 Model 3.
@DailyMotor
@DailyMotor Күн бұрын
Hey Yas, good to hear from you, and good to know! I did do a refreshed M3 drive a month ago, but it was so prescribed and short that I didn't get much time for impressions. Maybe they're more open to longer drives now that the hype has waned a bit. Also there are Tesla press vehicles near here, but Tesla wasn't interested in loaning them. But yes, the refreshed 3 was very nice. I think the '22 and '23 M3's were still probably a quality improvement over your '19, but still.

I watch a good amount of your videos and appreciate your perspective. It seemed like you were moving your head more than usual in this video which made it a bit harder for me to focus. I think it’s because you were justifying how this is actually a good car and emphasizing that with body language. Still a nice review.

Okay, thank you for the feedback! I've also been wondering if my camera has been deteriorating, because I've noticed some of the night footage seems shakier too. Will keep an eye on it.

I own a 2023 forte GT DCT and the car is unbelievable the mileage is in the 30’s around town in sport mode and I have been in the 40’s on the highway. Unfortunately this car will be discontinued in 2025 say goodbye to the greatest bargain of a sports car you could possibly purchase. I paid $26,000 for mine the new k4 will be watered down with a big price increase.

Rolls Royce has always held a special place in my heart. As the saying goes, "The Rolls Royce is the ultimate statement of automotive elegance and engineering excellence."

I have a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander I filled up with. Ethanol free 90 And I drove it 450 miles. Exactly on E! From Front Royal Virginia to Trotwood, Ohio. Then I filled up with regular 87. In Trotwood, Ohio. It did not even make it home 327 miles. Had to fill up in Maryland. And this is going through back roads and mountains. The same way I went up is the same way I came back. No alternate routes. Also I did check the owner's manual. And I found out that you can use E15 gas In the Outlander! The way I see it is! higher octane, Better mileage! 87 octane, lower mileage.

Now that AWD is available on the Camry, I truly can't see a compelling reason to choose a Crown over a loaded Camry for $10-15k less? I'm sure it has a few features not available on the Camry and it has near crossover ground clearance for extreme winter weather, but other than that the car overall doesn't do much for me. Sure it looks distinctive, but I prefer the looks of the Camry. I will concede some of the Crown variants we don't have yet look much better than this sedan. I'm excited to see one of those when they finally arrive.

It handles it well; doesn't freak out, just slows down gradually as a human would. Some brands do better than others with this regarding adaptive cruise.

The favorite thing on our 2014 Lexus RX 300 is the navigation. We were on a long road trip and were going through settings for fun when we first got it. We stumbled across the “navigation will be at this volume” and would turn it to the max and then the softest setting. We were laughing for a good 5 minutes because of that. Almost wet our pants.

@DailyMotor
@DailyMotor 2 күн бұрын
Out of all the R 18's, I think the Roctane makes the most sense. The Roctane is essentially a cooler bagger in my eyes. But yes that one is still cool. Transcon is too big and also irrelevant to me compared to K1600 and R 1250RT, and the basic bike is just basic.

The rear seats should have 3 heat settings. Power trunk or auto lift on release (counterwait) should be standard on the limited for the price. There should be a HUD and ambient lighting. Power tilt wheel- Avalon had it. More materials on the door would be nice- like the Avalon or new Camry. You shouldn’t have to get a platinum for some of these features. Also, it should have a better sound system-like the Avalon. Looking to upgrade from a 2016 LaCrosse. It has 303 HP, ambient lighting, and nicer interior treatment.

My 2020 Coupe LC 500's ML stereo is very brassy... to the point where its nearly unlistenable. The problem is (IMO) the dash speakers are too bright and ricochet off the windshield, and there's no way to overcome this problem without a parametric EQ to dial back the frequencies around the 4k-6k range. Disappointing

You mentioned you ride/own a VStrom 650. I have a 2012 VStrom 650 and enjoy that bike .. but the TransAlp has grabbed my attention. Can you comment on the why one is better than the other? I'd really like your perspective sine you've ridden both. TIA!!
@DailyMotor
@DailyMotor 2 күн бұрын
Transalp is more playful than the Strom. Strom is more planted and mature. Strom needs an exhaust to bring out the engine character, Transalp is good from the factory. Would rather have the Honda if I could only own one bike, but if I could have two I would have the Strom and a CRF300L (maybe 450, but I haven't had a chance to try one).

Charlie, Although I generally welcome any surviving sedan in our market, I am going to boldly predict that everything you like about the Crown sedan, you will like MORE in the Crown Signia SUV....CUV.......WAGON. 😉My one major gripe with the Crown sedan is the lack of rear seat headroom. Despite the fact the Crown has a far more accessible seat height than a Camry, it actually offers less rear headroom.🤨 The headroom is improved in the wagon and of course, the wagon provides far more storage capacity. Where available, the 19" rims on the Crown XLE trims will make the ride even better.

Videos for the other models have been released so we just wait for the Signia.
