In twelve minutes i've seen one of the best love story in anime history

Being completely honest here. This scene ruined HunterXHunter for me. PUT THOSE GUNS AWAY YOU'D MISS EVERY SHOT ANYWAYS!!! hear me out. This entire subplot is absolutely completely fucking phenomenal. But it was also the first thing I saw of the series. For me I expected the rest of the series to be this good. I am severely disappointed that the rest of the series is nowhere near as good as this subplot was. I think Hunter X Hunter is pretty fucking boring overall. The fights don't have as much energy or aura as something like Dragon Ball or even One Piece. When it comes to conflicts about rapidly adapting to a stressful insurmountable enemy Jojo has it beat. And I think there's plenty of other anime out there, action oriented or otherwise that have *much* more interesting characters...... ***aside from these 2.*** The story told with these 2 characters is probably one of the greatest if not THE greatest "born to darkness but realizing the beauty and value of the light" kind of stories ever told. Just in any medium ever, beyond anime as a sub-genre. This was fucking incredible. But as memorable as their story *and* their ending was/is. I think killing them off only hurt HunterXHunter as a series in the long run. Nothing in the series has even come SLIGHTLY close to me as good as this was.

Hunter x Hunter is a masterpiece. It's a feelings rollercoaster, showing almost every kind of personalities, their growth and development, not only physically but mentally as well. Thank you Togashi, this will be for sure one of the best memories of anime I'll ever have
