@@vxjk And thanks for that; not adding gloss or anything else obscuring the actual shades, as so many others have done (not even pausing to showcase he liners alone). I'll be getting Root For Me & Grape Expectations. When swatching them at the store though, I felt it a bit hard to get a good ombre transition w/ the lipstick I used (Melt Recuerdos, if you are familiar w/ the formula). The formulas just didn't really transition well into each other. I applied liner, then lippie, then fiddled both w/ the pencsil, lippie and a q-tip. Do you have any tips or tricks re: how to do the ombre deal well, w/ as little work as possible ...?

@ aww yes so familiar with melt!! I would recommend take a blending brush and just blending where the lipstick and lip liner meet! If that makes sense ? I can make a video showing you doll face! Root for me? Is gorgeous! Ugh stunning love it

I was hoping not to need involving extra tools etc (the least fuss, the better IMO), but guess not. Maybe such a video would be helpful for ppl in general though? I can't recall having seen a good tutorial for doing ombre lips, actually. It only flashes by, all cut together, more or less. Haha right?

@ haha I totally get it!! I can show how you can kinda just pat & smear your lips together so that it kinda does the ombré but typically a little blending brush is more precise!! But I can even show you with the tip of your finger :) you don’t have to thank me! I appreciate you showing me some love here!!
