Yep. So true. From the way I see it Earth is in the state it is because of the teachings of the bib1e & the chur¢h. "Go forth & 'subdue' the earth" = over mining, loss of habitat, and now climate change. "Make disciples of all nations"= colonization excuse, loss of culture, loss of local plant knowledge, loss of generations of how to live in harmony with Earth, etc. So these type teachings ingrained in the religious teachings of the chur¢h, their bib1e led us to the place we find ourselves in now. No wonder so many are leaving that religion. These are just a couple examples of the backward teachings. I am sure other people can come up with many more. Once you start looking with open, non biased eyes (and stop making excuses) you can see so many issues, contradictions & unhealthy teachings in the bib1e.

@@TheHolsomback I can already see who the fool is, thanks. Have you taken the time to truly understand the context of the book of revelation? Do you know who wrote it? Do you know who they were writing it for? Why they wrote it? What about when they wrote it? Oooooh my favourite part is teaching about WHERE they wrote it, because that holds some fun little nuggets of wisdom. Especially as it pertains to Wormwood (which you may or may not know is a herb that is responsible for hallucinations, it's also quite bitter tasting, used frequently by shamans, mystics and religious folk throughout history, grows extensively on the island of Patmos AND is mentioned by name in the book of Revelation). If you're so certain about the meaning of the book, then it can't hurt you to research a little bit more into it.... can it? I dare you.

Tarot in general is not an effective tool to achieve what the inquirer is trying to achieve and I learned the long hard way. A lot of times there is a misunderstanding between the exchange happening between the reader and the person getting the reading. People who are willing to pay money for a reading are desperately seeking answers or confirmation for their situation and entrust that the tarot reader is telling them everything with absolute certainty/accuracy which is not really the case. Most tarot readers are just giving their own intuitive opinion which may or may not come true at all! I’ve been seeking tarot readings for the past 15 years and the real results is no different than flipping a coin for answers. Yes some of the things they say did come true but a lot of the things they said also didn’t happen. I believe I currently hold the record of no tarot reader ever predicting my love life accurately. Since I was 18 every follow up reader has told me I would be with the love of my life in a couple of years but it’s been 15 years and I’ve been single this whole time. I actually think the tarot readings were very counter productive as it probably influenced my expectations which hindered any progress from potential relationships. In my experience incorrect readings from tarot can be detrimental to your quality of life by either bringing false hope into a situation or discourage you so you pick avoidance which may lead to opportunities lost! There are other helpful techniques to deal with the stress and anxiety of uncertainty but tarot is not one of them. I have observed and befriended many tarot readers over the years and their life problems are no different than the person who seeks them yet I’m surprised why their lives see no improvements when they have the skills and gifts of tarot reading. No one is immune from uncertainty and risks even the best tarot readers can’t see things coming their own way so it’s better to find healthier ways to cope with uncertainty versus trying to avoid it using tarot!

Who is fearful of the rapture? I have never met anyone expressing fear of the rapture. There are 5 fundamental considerations (along with many additional factors), clearly indicating that the church must be removed from earth prior to the tribulation: 1. The church is the bride of Christ (Revelation 19:7, John 3:29), and God promised the saints constituting the church that they would not face His wrath (Romans 5:9, 1 Thessalonians 1:10 and 5:9), which is poured out on the earth during the tribulation (Revelation 6:16-17, 11:18, 14:19, 15:1, 15:7 & Revelation 16); rather, the promise to the saints constituting the church is for sequestration and protection (Isaiah 26:20-21, John 14:1-3-with parallels of Noah, Rahab, Lot & his family, and Enoch-all of which are not Jewish people). 2. The basis for salvation changes during the tribulation period. Now, before the tribulation, we obtain forgiveness of sin and eternal life by believing in and accepting the sacrifice of Jesus and His resurrection. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9-10). During the tribulation, however, in addition to believing in Jesus, a person must also refuse to worship the Antichrist, and a person must also reject the Antichrist’s mark (Revelation 14:9-10). This is why Jesus said that the Gospel during the tribulation is one of endurance (Matthew 24:9-14). The change in the standard for salvation is best implemented by first removing the saints constituting the church; otherwise, many saved people risk losing their salvation. 3. God needs to complete His plan for the descendants of Jacob (i.e.,the final “seven”-year period-of Gabriel’s prophecy to Daniel as recorded in Daniel 9:24-27-which prophecy is expressly related to Jerusalem and Daniel’s people), which has been suspended during the time of the church (Romans 11:25-26). The fact that the plan of God is directed almost exclusively towards Israel & Jerusalem in the tribulation is evidenced by the attacks on Israel during the tribulation (Ezekiel 38-39), which are described like a locust invasion of Israel (Judges 7:12, Joel 1, Isaiah 33:4 & Amos 7:1-6), the battle of Armageddon occurring in Israel (Revelation 16:12-16, 19:11-20), the special seal being given only to 144,000 “sons of Israel” (Revelation 7:1-8), and Jesus returning to earth at the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:4). This is starkly different from the plan of God during the pre-tribulation period for the entire world (John 3:16 & Matthew 28:19-20). 4. During the tribulation, God uses special Gospel proclaimers, including the 2 witnesses (Revelation 11:1-13), an eagle (Revelation 8:13), and 3 angels (Revelation 14:6-11)-strongly suggesting that the church is no longer present to spread the Gospel. 5. There are indications in Scripture of a pre-tribulation harvest. See, for example, Amos 7:1-6, where the “king’s crop” has already been taken before the “spring crop” of tribulation saints are harvested, the latter of which occurs during or as a consequence of the assault on Israel and the descendants of Jacob. The king’s crop represents the church-taken before the start of the tribulation. The later crop represents people who become saints and die during the tribulation. There is extensive additional information in support of a pre-tribulation rapture. The overwhelming scope of information demonstrates the undeniability of the pre-tribulation rapture. Maranatha!

I have had a couple of folks take it that weren't raised with this specific doctrine yet got SO much out of it. There's a whole lesson on the book of Revelation, another on how to critically read biblical passages, there's a lesson on cognitive dissonance and the final lesson is on cult tactics so overall there's a bunch of relevant stuff for anyone I'd say.

This deck definitely gives me pop culture vampire vibes, Twilight (my favourite Vampire fiction book series) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It definitely gives that gothic romance vibe. I kinda wish there was more Edward and Bella vibes in this deck though, but I think that's just because I love Twilight so much. The image in the death card, reminds me of Bella’s dream of Edward changing her into a vampire in the Twilight movie, more romantic less tragic. I do like that we get the story of the girl in the fool card being lured by the handsome vampire, being changed in the death card and coming into her own as the world card. That definitely reminds me of Bella, from being the damsel in distress and needing protection from Edward and the Cullen’s, to then coming into her own, once she was turned by Edward, and in the end becoming the strongest vampire of them all using her shield to protect her family and friends. I am intreagued by this deck, the artwork is nice, I agree it's a very cool deck. I also agree that it does go more general gothic elements rather then specifically vampires.
