That I-10 “exit” off the Horace Wilkinson bridge should have been 3 lanes straight through with no 35 Mph speed limit. Thanks so much for making this video!!

I grew up in Houma too but I've lived in California for over half of my life. Houma is so beautiful, but it was really exquisite before the 2000s andnow I'm glad it's diversifying/still growing. Terrible place for the hurricanes though...the flooding and hurricanes are not going to stop :(((

I used to ride my motorcycle up and down highway 90 every weekend. I stay in Morgan City because my job is down there but all my friends lived in Lafayette. So every Sunday when I ride back home, I would hit 155 mph at 5:40 mark. Although your video have been cut short but it's a 5 miles stretch of straight road with a little curve to the left. I can still feel the winds from those days just by watching your video. Hahaha.

I remember going to Mid-South wrestling shows in Houma as a teenager in the 80's. So many riots. Sheriff's department even got investigated by Internal Affairs for police brutality. They night sticked the ever loving tar out my friend who was the son of a highway patrolman. His dad wasn't too happy. Still a lot of good memories though.
