Hi, I’ve just found you, thank for this video. I was surprised to see how you apply the cloisonne strip to the silver components. It’s different to the way other folks work. You made it look like the way somebody doing it every day might go about it, (cutting out the glueing stage). I’m new to enamelling, I’m expecting my first delivery of transparent enamel to arrive today and I’ll have to try applying your method of application of wire strip. Thank you for sharing. . . I loved watching this- they are so beautiful and so much work has gone into them. Years ago, I wanted to be a silversmith and work with enamel, but I developed an allergy to silver and gold. Now I am almost in tears because this is exactly what I would have loved to have done so much.

Sure if you have casted bezel, where you can work first on enamel and then set a rock/stone.

A peace of silver sheet gives the product more shine than the enamel itself. This is the reason why i’m using sometimes silver sheets. Thank you for your interest.
