I really appreciate the comment. Honestly I hated it - was so last min, I had a couple of listens through the track before that to come up with ideas and literally 1 take was all I had time for. If you want the backing track I can send you. Yep haha its a perfect height for wee drum items

Hilarious. I also wish Yamaha would go back to Japan, as well as Tama. Having said that I do own several newer Yamaha drums and they sound, look, and feel better to play than most other drums I’ve played or heard in a live and amateur recording setting. Obviously my opinion.
I own a pover v special made in japan and im holding on to it. This got me good lol

It's the vibe and of course the prejudice that anything out of china could be good or even better. The same vibe was going in the 60's and 70's with japanese stuff. But as everybody knows, all the OEM stuff from asia is already on the same page as all US, japanese and german made stuff together. They copied anything they could, brought it to the table and made it even better. While the western world still works with the P85 and slottet screws 😂 I like the old stuff, but the new stuff is just better, what you can see and hear. Not here of course 😂
