I remember this song in my child hood days my fathers always sing this song when he keep on praying at very early in the morning and i saw the tears in his eyes ,because this song was my sister favorite at those time at her early age of 13 she passed away may be it was 5th decade

I learned this song attending a summer youth church camp. I attended this camp in France somewhere. My father was in the AF and we were stationed in Germany. The camp was sponsored through the Mormon church of my very best friend & soulmate sister. We have been friends from 7th grade in 1976 to this date in 2023. I have sung this song to my children, my grandchildren, and now sitting with my mother in end stage Hospice care. A beautiful song and lyrics that I hope paint a lovely picture for my Momma (suffering from head & neck cancer, complicated by dementia) of the treasures that await her in God's light and everlasting love.
