We slept inside the civic center the night before tickets went on sale. Great time and 2 great shows in my hometown.

At 0:07 there's a pic with the shuttle. I've seen a couple videos of the tour, where is the shuttle or is that an overly? I'm glad you got to visit and perhaps I will one day but it's a long, long drive from California just to see that. Thanks for sharing.

I went there this past July with my brother and my son. The young lady who conducted the tour was sweetness personified, and I'm not going to lie, I was legitimately an inch away from crying when she told me I could sit in the chair. Best. Trip. Ever.

Beautiful! I found "The Neutral Zone" stage in Kings Bay, GA. where "Star Trek Continues" and several fan-series are filmed. Went there a few months ago.. It was a dream come true. After 58 years of being a trekkie (since 66') I sat in The Captain's Chair...on the bridge. Gotta go back next month... Thanks for the photos. I know you had fun!

Wow, he did not seem how I expected him to be. When I heard about his unusual life filled with his even more unusual hobbies, I kind of expected him to be a bit socially withdrawn, but he seems warm and gregarious. If Id known about him when he was alive Id have loved to give him a call.

I am glad I am seeing some of these videos of the so call "normal" Kids in high school doing the extraordinary things and treating people with special needs a sort of "normal" experience. I was born with cerebal palsy and have been on crutches for 55 years. Sure I had friends in high school but none really treated me that normal and did stuff like you are seeing in these videos for me. Yes things have changed somewhat since 1987, seeing these videos, i wish we could go back in time and change things

Heard this on the radio when it actually happened. Lived around the corner from the studio on Rt. 123. Swung by one day and saw Don's brother with his tractor trailer. I sure miss those days - with The Cavalcade, the wasted 30 minutes between D&M and G Gordon Liddy (RIP) when they did nothing but play the drop-ins. The door would open, Dorothy asked "What would you do with a brain if you had one??". And these guys sure could do strippers on the radio. Good timze!!

In 1977, I went aboard USS Fairfax County LST-1193 with my family when the ship was in Detroit, Michigan for a Great Lakes tour along with the USS Oliver Hazard Perry FFG-7 frigate. Both were neat, clean ships and the Navy personnel were dressed 1 st class. My dad was in the U.S. Navy aboard USS Louisville CA 28 heavy cruiser from 1943-46 and witnessed 51 sailors and Rear Admiral Theodore Chandler buried at sea in the Pacific due to (2) kamikaze in Jan. 1945 and (1) kamikaze in June 1945. God bless our service men and women - past and present!
