As a teenager I was convinced by two liberal priests, from two different denominations, that I was naive to take the Bible literally. After turning to Christ as a 40-year-old, I had difficult problems with the Bible. It took me four and a half years of intense studies of "contradictions" in the Bible until I had ZERO doubt. Those verses are 100% FACT.

I think God wants us to just be ourselves but within reason. He is very merciful, but it can be a struggle for some people. For instance, my wife has ADHD and she really struggles limiting her verbal expression. Try not to condemn yourself. As long as we are using wholesome speech, I think that's a good start.

@@Lecia-lithiumaccording to Mark 16:17-18 the gift of healing is not required to heal a fellow believer. I wouldn't say I have the gift of healing but I have prayed for people who have been healed as a result. One was because of a word of knowledge. I think the gift of healing is a endowment of the Holy Spirit to heal people much more than just occasionally. It's like faith. All believers have faith, but not necessarily the gift of faith. I hope that helps.

That is what happened to me. I had severe crippling anxiety and fear that I was Tormented with most all my life. In 2021 or 2022 I can't remember exactly, but I couldn't take it anymore. I was physically sick. I prayed begging God to take it from me because I couldn't handle it anymore. I was crying and begging and after I was finished praying I threw up. After that I was Headed of the anxiety and fear. I started taking anxiety medicine when I was five years old, and I'm sixty one and been healed about 3 years now. God is So Amazing! I Had to learn how to live without it because it was my life. Never again will I have it because God is on my side! Thank you for the great encouragement! God Bless you! ✝️🐑🙏❤️🙂

Thank you Geoff. I too have this thing called "chronic fatigue syndrome" with Post exertion Malaise. Your videos are a daily encouragement. 🙏❤ Everyone with a nervous breakdown, chronic burnout, CFS, or whatever label that is used, has a unique history, mine is chronic stress leading to what used to be called a nervous breakdown. It has been a long, frustrating and difficult journey, but I am relying on The Lord to bring me out of this condition. Until God heals me, God is teaching me things I would not have known unless I was in this condition. Things about myself of course, but also about the fight between flesh and blood and powers and principalities, and how demonic spirits can influence a Christian soul. My personal breakdown came about through a disharmony between my soul/mind/ego, and my spirit not hearing the Holy Spirit. My mind was like a gale force wind (ADHD?) and I let myself be pushed to breaking point, while the Holy Spirit was clearly telling me in a gentle quiet voice, like a still breeze, to slow down. I can sense now the difference between my spirit and my soul, and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit I am slowly getting a harmony between them. I see this as the continuing process that started 35 years ago when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. After all the purpose of this life is to be in harmony with Jesus. I am acutely sensitive to sound and movement, I have a frustrating startle effect that is a nuisance in public, my noisy "EH!" startles other people, who see no cause for my startle response. I don't go to Church, I don't have the energy, but my wife sends me photos and texts the Bible passages during the readings and sermons, and at Bible studies. I watch the sermons on Tuesdays when they get uploaded on the Internet. I pray for the Church and they pray for me, so if I am not physically present, I am present in the spirit. Thank you again for your encouragement, and the news that you are able to be more active.

Thanks so much for sharing your testimony. I can relate to Chronic Fatigue coming by way of stress. That's what I have put mine down too. We only recently found out that my wife has ADHD, and that, I think was the cause of my stress, because it has really affected our marriage relationship in a major way. That coupled with my own spiritual struggles over the years. However, God, through the Holy Spirit, has given me victory and a means to cope in many areas that I struggled with like anger. despite that, it is still a tough journey sometimes. But I am blessed all the same despite the painful times. Thanks again so much for sharing. I pray that God would do a miracle and heal you completely, like He has repeatedly promised me concerning my wife and myself. God is about to do a new thing and pour out HIs Spirit in mighty power. At least, that is what the Spirit is saying in our region of the world. I hope you catch some of that.

@@thumby2712I just remembered something Derek Prince said when he was preaching on deliverance, that most people he encountered that could not break through into a proper Christian experience had been involved in some form of occult. Once they confessed it as sin they were set free.
