Looks good. I’m looking at doing something similar with my property, too big to rent or pay someone to do it. Debating between the svl65 and 75-3 toward the end of next year. Have been going back and forth and can’t make my mind up between the two. Thinking I need a toothed bucket, stump bucket, grapple, and bush cutter/possibly disc mulcher.

Do the 75 high flow you’ll need it to run a brush cutter like this at 26-28gpm. You’ll also want the 75 for climbing hills, I find even mine doesn’t love larger hills. More power is always better when it comes to this kind of work. I wanted a 95 but the price difference wasn’t enough to justify it since I’m not out working it commercially. Also get the thicker ballistic plexi glass so you don’t get a large branch through the window, it has saved me more times than I care to admit.

My property is hilly. On paper is only looks like a couple gpm difference on the high flow version. Plan to keep it a long to time so what to get it right and don’t want to cheap out. I had someone with a 90 out there doing some work for me and it looked too big to maneuver easily in the wood. How does it do in general on hills as far as stability? Only have tractor experience.

@@dc7061I squeeze that 75 through everything, my concern with the 65 is the ability to handle the 1000-1300lb attachment up hills and while working. I think the 75 is a must.
@dc7061
@dc7061 2 ай бұрын
Can’t ever be mad about more power, have learned that well on tractors. 75 and 65 are nearly the same size within inches so no maneuvering issues. But big difference between them the size of a 97. I’m about a year out from pulling the trigger so have time to think on it. But 75 sounds better…. Thanks for the input.

I'm getting some good ideas for my 2021 F150 on how to run my wiring. I bought Morimoto 4Banger HXBs. No auxiliary switches for me so I'm assuming I'd just run the ground to the ground you show, and the positive to the battery, through the firewall to the included switch with the morimoto harness. There is a large relay on the harness and an online fuse like yours, any further details on the relay mounting? I know you said the camera wasn't focusing. Does it have to be mounted like screwed into something?
@greenbackgrangetn3663
@greenbackgrangetn3663 2 ай бұрын
Yes the switch you have is ready to go, the switch controls the relay so the current won’t burn out that switch. Getting through the firewall is the hardest part, look for a rubber grommet and poke through it so you don’t rub the wires on the metal.
@cmccane
@cmccane 2 ай бұрын
@greenbackgrangetn3663 thank you! You are definitely not lying about the rubber grommet, that eas the death of me. I cut both zip ties on either end and still couldn't get a hanger through the damn thing. Haha but I finally got it yesterday evening.

Great Job with father son time. One step before initial start. After you fill the oil pan you should pull the crank cord several times to circulate the oil otherwise it is considered a dry start and can damage internal parts. As a mechanic we do the same thing with rebuilds to lube valves piston rings etc.

Aqua Crest replacement filters are some of the highest rated on Amazon and that exactly why i purchased a 4pack recently. Using a TDS tester (not PH, dork), they test decent but really dont stay low compared to others I've tested... soooo... i opened the recent rather short-lived filter to see. Results were not favorable for aqua-crest as they are really a 2 stage at best. No carbon except the 1/4" x 1" pod @the outlet. Di resin is what your buying folks .. Buy original Zero by Culligan and pre filter with a cheap brita pitcher to offset the cost.

For installing wheels and feet, you showed it on its back for one side. Did you lay it over on its front to put the wheel and foot on the other side? I’m wondering if I could just stand it on its end instead of flipping it from side to side. Thanks.

Westinghouse told me that I shouldn’t use LED bulbs or smart electronics like TV’s, computers, wi-fi controlled garage door openers in my house if I plan to connect my WGen9500 gas generator. to my service panel. They won’t be protected because of the THD. total harmonic distortion.

It is a bad test. 1. the filters should have had a couple of gal of water ran through them to clean out any manf residue. 2. the glass jar should have been clean/dry. 3. a water filter is for filtering out impurities and not change the water to a Base or Alkali. This characteristic (change in PH) might go away after a few gal of water has passed through.

I just got a Raptor & will be installing these. Previously I had "ditch lights" (aka A-Pillar lights) on my Tacoma & 4Runner. Very helpful in a variety of scenarios: off-roading at night, curvy hilly paved roads in areas where deer frequent, & stopping to read a roadside unlit sign.
