It helps if you don't push/drag the pallet. No reason to completely destroy someones lawn when you could just use a larger machine or piggyback forklift

Guy said that the machine cost around $300k. It did fairly well out here, but the big rocks 6" plus ended up stopping the machine to where they had to bring in a rock saw in some areas. It was very impressive. Did tear out a few 3" water lines. Something like this is great if you know exactly where the utilities are and can stay far away from old pvc pipe and pedastools. Better for new installations. Otherwise if you hit something, you are going to need a trackhoe to excavate and fix.

Keep a lower center of gravity while plowing down steep slope + give the Novice Operator a visual Reference point to steer thru the narrow cut in the concrete sidewalk.

Push the green lever forward till it locks and float the front arm. it will follow the contour of the ground better and you can back drag with a bucket on.

With good quality conduit, you can "Pull plow" 500-800' in decent soil conditions......typically between pedestals/vaults/cabinets.....further and eventually the pipe will break/pull apart. For longer runs, use a Feed blade where the conduit is routed thru a chute

I've seen video after video of trenchers doing their job very well, but they are ALL shown working where there are no rocks, no roots.....you could have a great garden there, but it's not real-life instruction. Waste of my time!

This video was in our Dealership Test Field. There are plenty of trencher videos on our KZbin Channel digging on customer jobsites. Trenchers dig in tough rocky soil & thru <6" diameter roots everyday across America. RENT riding trencher from any local Rental Store and see for yourself Andy

Clean & spray with WD40. If button still doesn’t work, the spring underneath is bad. Buy replacement button Kit from DW Dealer which includes new button, Spring & set screw. Good Luck sir!

Great video. Just another market for the ditch witch . Would love to see a telescoping extension as an aftermarket option . Would be huge in the propane market. New crain truck $ 200,00.00 New ditch witch $70,000.00 . With multiple uses and the ability to tow behind the crain truck to set tanks where the crain truck can't go. Big market for ditch witch. Thanks for the video .

Good job man, but…you’re supposed to start on the backside of the stump, and work Towards the machine. That’s why it rotates in the direction that it does. It throws all the chips to the side that the shield is on. Ur supposed to start on the back side and work towards the machine, so you can see what ur doing. Try that next time, it’ll be so much better.

The SMT42 prep's soil 1"-3"+ deep for new turf or seed. It is always Operator's responsibility to call 811 for locates to avoid underground utility damage.
