Some advice on the ROM situation. If you patch your ROM on our website, the clever people on our team set it up so that it does some weird error check thing and fixes errors. Perhaps you were having issues with the ROM patcher on our site? We were just discussing this and it seems like the patcher on our site hasn't been working. They're investigating it so hopefully it can get fixed soon.

That makes sense, when I tried to patch it on your site it didn't work. I thought that the ROM patcher on your site was either broken or I didn't know how to use it. So I just patched it on my own. Bad decision, as my ROM was clearly broken. I found a clean ROM elsewhere, so it's all good. But yeah It's a big problem, many sites seem to have the broken ROM. Thanks for help. :)

If you ever continue playing this, you should try clicking on the other brigade members' faces during the puzzle. The other members have special abilities you can activate.

Lol, everyone I see who plays this gets confused in the first puzzle. The tutorial doesn't do a good job of making sure you understand. It's a good job the first puzzle is suuuuper easy to clear with just needing to erase one singularity. That Schrodinger's cat tangent was legendary

Hey, I'm one of the many people who translated this. Thanks for playing! I'm gonna watch through all of these streams lol. Edit: Yes! There's a huge amount of text in the game. There's a lot of different pathways and stuff as well, so in total there are around 40,000 lines. Episode 4 should be ready pretty soon, and then Episode 5 is shorter so hopefully we can get that done quickly. I don't blame you for not understanding you have to tap on the tile you're standing on to search the 9 tiles around you, it's easy to miss if you're not paying full attention to the tutorial lol.

I randomly remembered this game over a decade after playing it last. I used to sneak it when I was grounded and play it on my game boy micro. I loved this game when I was younger and it was tough. This stuff really captures my youth, I loved this fantasy world.

I remember owning this game as a kid. I ever played free mode and having fun experimenting with different characters though had a lot of fun in this game shame I lost it, but I hope to find it again.

Can play online on Tinywars, have played a lot of both awbw and Tinywars and I do think that DoRs competitive experience is much better but I think a significant factor in that is that the Tinywars community actively balances the COs rather then AWBW where its just made to be cartridge accurate.

The game is called Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. It's basically a spin off game, based on the same engine. Fun game.

The argument that it's being dark to appeal to kids makes absolutely negative sense. It was the cartoony, colorful art style that was appealing to children. And the thing about children is _they don't buy their own games._ Parents, for the most part, have only the game case to go off of, which make this game seem SO much more adult than it is, and they're not going to want to but Little Timmy what they think is the game version of "Johnny Got His Gun" or "All Quiet On The Western Front".

Thank you for your comment. I think it goes both way, there's parents that take full responsibility in the choice of a videogame, especially if a parent is responsible they will be fully aware of the content. But there's also plenty of parents that don't care and just buy whatever the kids want just to shut them up. It's sad, but that's the reality. Clearly there's games that cater to both markets, there's plenty of educational type games are clearly made with parents in mind. But there's certainly a fair share of games that cater to the taste of kids. I think that regardless the reason to change the look in this case came from the need to give the series a fresh reboot.
