Should never solder stranded cable like that, if the solder snaps you've got a live cable loose.

Wow so lucky that tree was in the middle of a field of grass with no water lines or power lines under it. Most of the time I want to dig up a tree it's against a house or a fence with other tree roots intertwined. 10 minutes would be nice but the 3500$ ..ouch

There's a lot of power loss going from DC to AC, would probably last longer as DC lights into a DC port.

8gs, wow man thats a good build. im 21 and going to be moving to my grandparents farm in WV, we have a nice camper for me to stay in but i want to build sumthing like this in the future for more long term comfort, cos i love campers but the squeeky floor and small sink,shower, stove and all that kinda sucks for a 6 foot 2 guy. i would give my left leg to have a nice wood burner that i can use a cast iron pan on

I absolutely love your set up. I’m building essentially something similar, but instead of trailering it I’m going to slide it into my truck bed. Glad to see yours is holding up so well

It's a nice trailer, I would like to have something similar someday.

Almost hit next because I thought there's no way a KZbin Short is actually going to answer the question in 30 seconds that other videos will spend 30 minutes trying to avoid getting to, but damn if that wasn't actually as succinct as hoped for. Instant subscribe!

Looks great the only thing id add to you build is rot wrapping you posts in your footers. AND adding footers in the middle. The rot wrap is like a rubber wrap that you put on your posts. Other than that i love it

No ac. It’s gonna be hot as balls in there. Eco flow would be perfect
@iantheodd16677 күн бұрын
You could also do that with a bobcat, although you can use farming implements with the tractor

I have friends who have done this but I’ve never seen the process of tapping trees before. Lots of work, eh! Do the taps get left in the tree for the next spring or do you have to put in new ones every year? How long does it take to boil down 5 gallons worth and how much syrup does it make? I’m sorry for all the questions but I find it interesting.

Thanks for sharing the video and the info. I didn’t realize or really think about how our lives intersect or adversely affect our wild predator birds. I am grateful for their contribution to the circle of life and keeping our ecosystem in balance.

please explain how are you getting a six ft.x8 ft piece of plywood where is the seam ??
@LivingOurAmericanDream10 күн бұрын
Great question. I ordered 5’x10’ sheets of 3/4” plywoods from Menards. No seams anywhere on the exterior except for the joints.

My only question would be, why the Deere rear quick hitch on a Kubota when Kubota has them too? (not knocking you, just a question)
@LivingOurAmericanDream13 күн бұрын
Bought it on sale. The dimensions for the Kubota (land pride brand) and Deere quick hitches are the same.
