Well, how many miles you bought it with? I have heard about the bearing issue with clutch Golf R. The engine rarely rarely eats up main or rod bearings. I have seen engines with mud oil inside, cylinder head destroyed, balance shafts, cam bridge, camshafts, everything eaten up, but the crank was pristine. *These engines reach a 100k miles so overhaul, just like you said. On some the plastic intake manifold goes bad, water pump, HPFP, and for those who have DSG, the DSG flywheel needs to be replaced around 120k.

I won’t lie they are quite small inside. However im 6ft and I fit just fine. I’d saying anything over it might be a bit of a squeeze

They’re not lol, not everyone fits these. I would say if you’re a taller or larger person, try the NC Miata, it’s bigger than the other gen Miata

I love that you have EUNOS branding. I was in Okinawa for 6 years and wanted an NA Eunos, when they were new. At the time I wanted the MR2 more, I still prefer a mid engine, but I have my Fiata dialed in so well that it corners so much better than my previous MR2s. Make this your project car and tune it to your driving style and you'll never want to part with it. Again, congrats.

Thank you! MR2 is a dream car of mine unfortunately they’ve gotten quite expensive lately haha. I just got back from vacation in Japan actually and absolutely loved it, super cool place!

@@dommhub Like I said, you can configure the Miata to perform very well and have all the fun of an MR2 minus the engine sound sitting right behind you. Plus the interior on the MR2 is pretty cheesy and dated.

I traded my Audi TT for a 124 Abarth. It's been my fun car to tweak. Of course it's a Miata platform and I love more than any car or bike I've owned. (MR2 mk I and III, 3000GT VR4, Skyline, Hayabusa, R1, Gamma, etc). Found my car. 3 years in and not tired of it... that's a first. Pininfarina design, torquey Fiat motor, Miata suspension and light weight, and Japanese production. Driven hard, manual, turbo 36k, insanely high mpg (very condition dependant with that 1368cc motor tho) it's been on the Dragon, lowered 2", track coilovers, sounds amazing with cat back straight, and a bunch of other updates. Eats muscle cars that have less than $15k worth of upgrades. I absolutely love it. I can't think of a car I'd be happy to replace it with. The Miata platform is so easy to work with. I have no regrets about giving up the Gen 2 TT. Of course it was a higher quality car, but it just isn't the fun of this one. Fun and lightweight, nimble, and corners impeccably, which as a biker I love. Glad you are happy with your Miata. These cars capture the spirit of driving. I smile every day behind the wheel. If I had to replace it, I'd find another, or get a Miata and upgrade it too.

Its just the regular one, the adhesive portion is relatively thin but has stuck really well, I ride pretty low so the lip got a bit beat up, but the adhesive has stuck this whole time no problem!

You can hear the compressors running in the cabin, however it only runs after you air back up or in the morning for like 1-2 minutes and then turns off, so its not bad at all.

Does your car came with dynamic/magnetic suspension from factory? Did you have any faults or warning lights on the dash? Any ACC issues? How smooth was your suspension compared to the oem, thanks buddy

Yes, I had to buy KW Deletes to get rid of the suspension light that it throws if you get rid of the OEM shocks. As far as ride quality air is a little more bouncy, you can make it softer by adjusting the dampening and also running less PSI in each bag but still not as smooth as OEM.
