What kind of spray paints do you prefer to use please? Thankyou for the helpful video

You can thin the PPG 10% with water and that actually slows the drying time. I live in Florida so 4 minutes is a bit fast. I slow it down to 10 minutes with 10% distilled water

On MDF for a ultimate professional job use Zinzer BIN White Shellac Primer and then PPG Breakthru....The paint is tighter, flatter ad just color you can't see the build up of paint like you do on those letters. Use a 2.5 mm HVLP gun ...spray the primer, sand and then spray the PPG. It's water borne, no fumes and it dries in 4 minutes and can be re-coated in 30. I use nothing but these two as a combination and my paint jobs on my cabinets come out blemish free.....

Very nice! Do you use wood glue to attach all the letters or some sort of spray adhesive?
@JPSPECHT234 жыл бұрын
also, do you just use 1/2 mdf. I live in a poor area for availability and cant get any thing smaller then 1/2 inch without custom ordering

Yes I use tight bond II premium to glue up the layers. Fortunately the Home Depot and lows that are down the street carry a good variety of mdf. But sometimes I do need to drive 40min to get some premium lumber.

Tyler Stoner yes it’s the chalkboard they sell at Home Depot. I like the way it cuts it’s very clean.
