I like the format of the video. Seeing two of you is a blessing. ( I’m kidding, I’m kidding.) Seriously though, presenting the scenario, breaking it down, explaining a different route and then presenting what that route looks like is a great way of showcasing a proper response. Please give us more of these types of videos. Or survey your subscribers.

You're making me realize too many things about my childhood. Lol. I was also under pressure by my parents to be the "happy girl", or at least the "less troubling girl". So it resonates a lot with me. Also, I didn't know how valuable anxiety is!! I didn't even know it has value ! Thank you!!

That must've been hard to experience and I hope you're talking about it with the people you trust. "Trouble" (of course within healthy boundaries) can also be very beneficial, that's why as teens we "rebel" - because we need to find and experiment with our own limits. And yes! Anxiety - like all emotions - is very valuable, but we'll talk about it later in the movie 🩵

That's very true and I think it's a testament to how well made the cartoon is. They did a very good job at showing how subtle that type of education/reinforcement is, and how us, as a society, are not trained to efficiently spot it... yet! 🩵

I think not enough people talk about how the "Teenagers🙄😂" additude that many adults have towards struggling teens is so harmful, and what can cause a lot of kids to feel alone, misunderstood or even constantly angry. Like, I feel like I hear people say "edgy teenagers🤣" about teens struggling with genuinely problematic depression or anger issues a lot, and it always makes me frown to hear people brush it off like that.

That's SO true! Unfortunately many times this is part of "continuing the cycle". Because adults had a horrible experience as teens, they might've internalised it as a "normal" experience, making it also normal to treat their own kids in the same way. Teenagers can't be edgy, they're yet to even find out what that means lol 😂 🫶

As someone with high anxiety at times, it was definitely after my parents learned what behaviour enforced that anxiety that they started correcting that harmful behaviour. Now they are my best supporters in my anxious feelings, always able to help me ground my anxiety in reality. I caught Riley’s parents’ more harmful behaviour only after this watch, so it’s very interesting to think about! I love your perspective on these movies.

Honestly when I first watched the movies I hardly realized how Riley's parents played into her problems and stuff, even if accidentally. I'm glad you point stuff like that out. I think its important for parents to recognize it when they do something wrong, even if its small or not on purpose :)

Thank you so much for saying that! I know I might sound a bit harsh on the parents, but I am holding them to different standards, considering their role as guides and anchors in their child's life. We can't be perfect of course, but we can always learn and that's why I'm making these videos after all 🩵

This may be out of left field but studies show in schools minorities are held to a different standard than white children, making them being reprimanded more for normal childlike behavior and im not sure if its intential but megamind being treated like a criminial and an adult feels similar to that!! that he is the 'other' not a child. it feels like a nod to the school to prison pipeline.
@Silvia-BeyondTherapy

There are definitely links to minorities and how they're treated - I didn't get into them with this movie simply because it would've become way too complex :D

The three world religions (corrupt programs) formerly operated off of the human sacrifice system. The purpose of the system was to genetically groom humanity, clipping the 10% of society that is able to tip us in a different direction, to keep the most enslavable stock. The reason why is because the religions are a guilt, control, fear matrix meant to trap energy divine energy in humans and diverted towards a corrupt and unforgivable purpose. The parts of the brain that are damaged by child abuse. Are the same exact parts of the brain that are overread during the state called channeling. Commonly called witchcraft/shamanistic practices they allow you to work with healing your brain from the childhood damage and that’s why the religions ban them. To further explain the type of child rearing in the patriarchal system causes damage to specific parts of the brain. There have been studies that show that channeling override those exact areas. Giving access to the collective conscious Ness which we can then use to re-mirror our brains. Mirroring is the only way that the child develops neural pathways that allow them to integrate all aspects of their nature. For instance those traits which a child does not have mirrored by A parent become part of a shadow self and actually become uncontrollable until faced. They can only become faced by becoming integrated and they can only become integrated by being re-mirrored in a new way. I could get into it more deeply such as the original Adam and Eve being like the yang symbol and that the Bible I read it in Hebrew and the original language in the deal is that they were equals Adam and eve but then Adam raped eve and gave her cognitive dissonance and she developed a split personality is Lilith and eve. So then the original Adam was one soul much like the planet is one planet and the north was like the matriarch, the south of the patriarch, the east the sun an sun and the west a little girl. The little girl in the matriarch were one like yin on the yang symbol And the patriarch in the son were one like on the yang part of the symbol *a system that is represented as two men and a girl. Or a Trinity That’s the word for Adam taking a rib, the word means side and translates basically as the west. Meaning he took the west as his bride. A little girl it’s very hypothetical or symbolic but the idea is that there is still one force that is unintegrated and that is Lilith We do that with our witchcraft in our music. Many of us have probably been drinking alcohol in order to bypass the regions of the brain that are damaged in childhood from neglect. These regions will play a bad program over again and also leave you open to energy vampirism for the matrix Every time they play. To prevent them playing is the key. When are use meditation channeling or another technique any further listening to them only gives energy to their system. It’s actually by means of child abuse perpetuated by the hierarchal system called heaven. Which in reality is hell on earth. It is by this system of child abuse that soul pieces or soul parts formerly were stolen from children and the shine from these beautiful babies is given to these hideous religious leaders and these in Hollywood. The only reason anyone likes them or thinks they seem kind is because they were formerly stealing the shine from babies. Carl Jung talks about the collective unconsciousness of man. The collective shadow of man. We all have the shadow side which accounts for all of the parts of our self which we were unable to integrate because we were unable to have the mirrored. We were unable to have the mirrored because we have been raised a society which has taught us to get connection with others based on inauthenticity which is a lie. Which means being someone other than who you are. As this is gone on the collective shadow of man he’s gotten larger and larger and larger. All of the world religions talk about this shadow is blackness which will block out the sun in one day envelop the entire earth. This is the collective shadow of man and the end of religion Blood and human sacrifice is continued to this day in the form of child abuse. I believe it was formerly that 90% of children who die from child abuse died in the first year of life.
