I love both groups. Although I prefer VP over HF in general, I actually like Home Free better on this one. Thematically, it fit the song better, and there was a fuller, richer sound than in the VP version. That said, both were really good. In general, I like VP better than HF mostly because of Geoff, but Tim really shines on this one! The win here goes to HF! Any given Sunday, right?! Now I REALLY want to see you two check out VP's Black Hole Sun, and Seven Nation Army, both featuring Anthony Gargiula...both are astounding!!! Oh, and since *as I write this) it's almost Halloween, check out VP's Thriller cover! Awesome sauce!!!

After Niel's death, the band has not released anything. Epic 70s sound, they benefited from the likes of YES, Rick Wakeman, etc., and the cosmic era of classic rock inspiration.

Trust me, you can hear better in the back than the front. Including after the concert. 😆 I not only have a hard time with crowds, but the sheer volume does something to me that makes me sick to my stomach. Even if I have really good hearing protection. So I'm thinking it's just my body reacting to the intensity of the sounds waves. 🤷♂️

May 21, 1940 - Arrives at Arras where it suffers a counterattack from 2 British tank regiments which will be stopped by the Flak 88 “tank killer” guns. June 5, 1940 - The 7th Panzer Division is positioned near Abbeville. June 8, 1940 - Reaches the suburbs of Rouen. June 10, 1940 - The 7th Panzer reached the English Channel west of Dieppe (Fécamp, Veules-les-Roses). June 17, 1940 - Rommel reached the southern suburbs of Cherbourg. June 19, 1940 - The Cherbourg garrison surrenders to Rommel. June 25, 1940 - Fighting ends for 7th Panzer Division in France. The speed of maneuver and its movements over great distances did not allow the enemy to locate the division, but this was also the case for the German High Command. Rommel assessed the importance of being with his men and commanding them from the front line, sometimes even if it meant being cut off from communications with High Command if he did not wish to be disrupted, his feeling was that it was preferable to 'Act first and explain everything later. Rommel was criticized for his actions which were outside of military practice. Rommel described the French campaign in his letters to his wife as "a whirlwind trip to France." The division was later under the command of Hans Emil Richard baron von Funck, he trained with it to prepare its active participation in operation Barbarossa.

@@albertjonker2538 cool first night I had greys back was against the wall second night I had greens but the third and final night I had tenth row floor center the creme de la creme back then you had to line up behind Sam The Record store man got lucky for the third show FM was the back up band and they sounded good as well a memory I will never forget.
