@@AlNimation64 GFL2 is a XCOM type mobile game with available PC client. It's more simplified for people to just jump in play for a few minutes or hours and leave. First game has less fan service which was one of the reasons for it to become more niche. They added more fan service in the sequel to get attention, outside of some of the character designs or skins the game has basically not much horny in it (non in the story itself). The story and lore are written like a novel focusing on geo politics, espionage, abductions, human experiments, torture... The first game has a lot of great soundtracks as well. GFL 1 took a bit too many chapters to really get going, and GFL2 will probably need some time as well. The thing that GFL2 messed up with is the crappy mihoyo summoning system. I'm not even blaming people for thinking the game is nothing but horny anime characters.

the reason that the girls aren't named after guns in the 2nd game is that in the 1st game, the company you worked for used guns as the doll's code names based off what gun fits them best. They're not the actual names of the dolls you work with. since you no longer work for the company, you don't have to call them by their gun name. additionally some dolls chose to embrace their gun name as their actual name, though often it seems those that do so far are older models that go by the name of the gun's designer (i.e. Mosin, Nagant, Springfield.)

@@Claudekr Dushevnaya. Though to be fair she lost that memory until you MOD1+ her. PNC also implies, as that story happened inside the GFL1 timeline, that some Dolls did have their names, but no explanation as to why they didn't use them. Another 404 example is Clukay. Though, for 45/9 they explicitly gave themselves the names Lenna and Leva after the events of GFL1. In 9's Neural Cloud Upgrade story she used to go by Reina (back when she was an A-Doll), but took on the name UMP9 to be more like her sister.

@@Claudekr That's the name Lena knew 45 as when they first meet, so it makes sense. Others like Sabrina, Groza or or Reina/Lena had that name first. Dolls like Springfield are probably the outliers, keeping the imprint name.

So Earl Griffin is the other half of the Griffin and Kryuger PMC in GFL1 and he seems great at first. Very supportive. Gives you whatever you need and lets you take a lot of liberties. But even Kryuger says before you head to Bremin to not trust anyone and especially not the Earl. His methods for a new better world involve using people until they lose value and letting them die for his cause and sparing capital punishment to very deserving people because their technological genius is too impeccable to lose. Also from what I know. SOPII and RO are both alive by the end of GFL1 and I await the day theyre announced because i know damn well the only reason no AR member has been shown is because of the suspense and potential for a spoiler on if they would live. Now that the final story event is done and the servers in China are shutting down theres no reason other than spoiling english players that might have kept up with the story but from what ive seen a lot of english speaking people have kept up with the chinese version story anyway somehow.

First: Don't spoil the story, there are many people out there that haven't read it yet. Second: GFL1 on CN finished the main story but the game isn't over completely, they're only gonna change servers because of a finished contract with a publisher, MICA will come back with secondary stories and new servers.
