this is likely where the definition of "Spursy" comes from. 2-0 up against bottom of the league and then throw it away.

BRILLIANT upload mate! COYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were brilliant that season, until injuries to Clive Allen, Glenn Hoddle and a couple of other key players. We owned Liverpool that season - we hammered Everton 4-1 at Goodison on opening day of season.

40 years ago yesterday. Spurs were actually good in those days. 81 FA Cup, 82 League Cup final, 82 FA Cup, 84 UEFA Cup and this great team from 84-85

@@supertottenhamtv I remember in 81-82 they were going for three trophies at one point even as far in to March, until Liverpool beat them in the League Cup final. Same for 86-87; they had loads of games in hand and could have won the league. The 84-85 team, though, I think was their best side.

We really should have finally won the league in 1984/85. Fell apart near the end, including stupid losses to Ipswich and 1-5 at home to Watford. Injuries played a key part though - losing Glenn Hoddle for several games near the end and Clive Allen injuried for long spells too. COYS - Great upload though.👍👍

Yeah the season started off really well and looked promising and faded at the end. Its a shame that we didn’t finish off the job that started well, as you mentioned we lost key players to the team which caused us big problems. Thank you 👍👍👍 COYS
