I never understood why solo travelers pay triple the price. Back in 2014 I went on a cruise for $1k when double occupancy rooms are only $340 a person. The price is just not feasible for multiple trips per year

There all pretty even but for young kids I recommend the fantasy cruise it but does also have something for everyone

Perhaps this video was made quite a while ago, but many, many age 50+ solo travelers take cruises on Virgin Voyages. VV really has something for everyone, not just for people under 40.

You said virgin was great for singles because it typically attracts a younger cruisers. Actually, most single cruisers are not in the younger category.

I agree not all young singles can afford a cruise, or they're scared to go solo. Older single cruisers can do it much more easily.

The Queen Mary 2 has amazing single cabins with large ocean views. Most or maybe all are 170 + sq feet. All 15 singles cabins are in the middle of the ships public places (restaurants, bars, shops, etc.). They are mid ship. Also, the cabins have 2 story ceilings. Because of all this, the single cabins all sellout VERY early.
